^won't say what she's thinking....

Well, I don't know what you were thinking, but I was imagining some lucky girl processing in stately fashion toward the altar, to the accompaniment of "Musical Mike" Kieffer playing the Wedding March with hand-farts. That would require considerable tolerance, wouldn't you admit?

That would be the true test of a sense of humor.

I just noticed two others in "Headline News" [which BTW was the first video to feature Ruben!]:

-- Near the end of the video as the camera pans to the left across Al and TBITB, Al looks at the camera, follows it by leaning back in his chair, and nearly falls over.

-- During the part where Musical Mike is doing his manualist music, there's a portrait clearly hanging on the wall behind him ... an Elvis portrait ... maybe even a VELVET ELVIS portarit??? ...

Go check it out!

Okay, will check. And, BTW, it's nice to see your squid-bedecked face around here again, Doc!

You know, the funny thing is when I first saw that video I was in college and up on my wall in my college dorm room was the EXACT same Elvis tapestry that was in the video. It's not a Velvet Elvis, it's a huge wall tapestry thing, I think it was mostly cotton, but whatever it was, it was light enough and thin enough to hang on a wall with a few pushpins. I still have it somewhere, but no longer hanging up.

I actually have a real Velvet Elvis portrait somewhere, but it's way too tacky to ever even consider hanging up.

Thankee, OE! But I never left! I just don't always have time to post. Plus, I suppose I am not always as ... um ... loquacious ... as some. :lookround: But the shout-out is always appreciated. :)

Oh, and I found something else ... anybody else notice the 25 cent coin slot on the respirator in "Like A Surgeon"? It's right after "Here's a waiver for you to si-i-i-i-ign."

Ooo, good eye! I hadn't seen that.

And those would be some truly weird nuptials. The good part is, their kids would really have fun watching Mom & Dad's wedding video.
