I was looking at the seating chart for this Theatre today... and then I looked at my ticket, I forgot I had front row for this show!

Nice! I might be down in the orchestra or up in the balcony taking pictures... not sure yet- maybe both!

I'll be right where I was last year when Kristine took that awesome picture of me getting the Al treatment...I love that picture, I have such a goofy happy look on my face!

We are (Fred and I) in our hotel room playing on our Laptops... researching what to do tomorrow before we head to the fair.
We're thinking of the Winchester Mystery House *which is just down the road from here* .. any of you done that? and whats your take on it? Is it worth the high price tag? ($30)

Hi everyone!
I haven't posted here in ages, but thought I'd add my two cents
I live in Monterey, and if anyone is looking for someplace to eat before the show, these are a few places that we locals love.
Jugem, a Japanese restaurant next door to the theater
Rosine's, across the street (down a little ways)
Papa Chano's, down the street same side as Rosine's, great Mexican food
Turtle Bay Tacqueria, on the street behind the theater
and a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern deli, (can't remember the name) next to the theter, popular with vegetarians
Anyway, I'm in the first row (don't have my ticket in front of me and can't rememeber the seat number, but next to the handicapped-reserved seat, center right ).

Yay Julie! I'm flying up tomorrow morning to San Jose and will be driving into Monterey, and will stay in San Jose at the airport as I have an early flight back to Long Beach. I ended up skipping the San Mateo concert tonight because the chaos at work was just too great. There was no way I could be away last week and again today.
Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago one of the real bedrocks among the psychiatrists in our region died a week after having open-heart surgery. Not only was Dr. Hilton a sweetheart and a good psychiatrist but he worked his butt off in the Long Beach office. As we are short handed already, have three new half-timers who just came aboard and three of us [including me] have been on and off work with stress-related medical illnesses, the workload has been a bear. I'm glad I can get away for tomorrow.
Cheers, Diva
Aisle seat, right in front of SG
can't wait to see Julie again
