World of Weird Al Yankovic

I know that Al has posted pictures of the bus on his site in the past, so I'm just gonna go ahead and assume that what I'm about to say is perfectly appropriate.

My boyfriend and I have a nasty habit of wandering aimlessly when we've nothing better to do...so that's what we found ourselves doing after the show. In our wanderings we somehow ended up behind that heavily guarded green fence by the bathrooms (You know the place). There was a big fancy red tour bus with some pretty white design on the side...Didn't think we were supposed to be there, so we left without answering the burning question....was it his bus?

P.S. I didn't mean to offend anyone with my "I guess he'll die" comment...it's a line from a lovely little childrens' song, and dying is the last thing I'd want Al to do...don't think I was so clear :-p

It probably was the tour bus. Last time we were at Konocti, hubby and I took a short-cut and ended up in the same area. Next morning I was able to visit all those previously secured areas and take a walk up on the very same stage Al and the guys were on the night before.

Just off the side there was a full-length mirror so they could check their costumes and make sure all their zippers were zipped.

It was sort of fun

It sounds like a great show and I'm glad for the Konocti curse being broken, well, except for the fly incident, but that must be minor compared to the video screen being blown over and falling off the stage. Poor Al.

Grant, congrats on being the opening act for Al! That has to be a dream come true! Hopefully, you'll get the chance again. I enjoyed seeing you and two out of three other band members at the BORED tour...5 years ago. Wow, it's been that long.

ZOMFG! At this concert when he came out into the audience to sing "Wanna B Ur Lovr", he sang "Your eyes are even bluer than the water in my toilet" TO ME! TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right into my eyes about 2 feet from my face!! In retrospect, I can't believe I didn't reach out and touch him... Of course then I'd not be able to wash my hand ever again and, well, that'd be just a bit awkward.

At any rate, I know this is insanely unlikely but if anyone got a picture of that I would just... well, die! What would be the chances?! Can't hurt to ask though... (I did check the ones from Al's #27 Fan - SO CLOSE, but no.) Anyone??
