Actually that's why I'm asking. All of the rest of her credits stop suddenly after 1994. So, the single credit in 1997 looks out of place. Seem odd to me that she'd come out of retirement for that, but if that's the case, them TWAS looks like it was her last imdb-worthy project.

The gap was probably just a matter of there not being any animated Flintstones productions at the time, as Hanna-Barbera (after having recently been acquired by Ted Turner) instead focused more on revitalizing the studio with new original projects for Cartoon Network. And of course the buyout by Time Warner in 1996 probably slowed down whatever production slate the studio had a bit (and even then, Warner was more interested in pushing Scooby-Doo right away than it was in anything Flintstone-related). There wouldn't be another full-length Flintstones production animated until 2001's odd TV movie "The Flintstones On the Rocks" (in which Tress performed Wilma).

But anyway, the voice artists from the classic studios were usually very dedicated to their characters, and in most cases would continue to perform them until they had died (Mel Blanc) or were simply no longer physically able to (Don Messick), so if Jean was in fact retired then it wouldn't surprise me if all it took was a phone call to get her back in to do the voice.

If info comes out on TWAS on DVD, where should the spoiler line be drawn? I ask because I found the following info (which I will hide for those who may not want to know)...

Possible Spoiler

Emo Phillips will apparently provide commentary.  Cut and paste this link (http://www.madison.com/wsj/home/enterta ... 53&ntpid=2) for the source.

Note to Mods: If a spoiler page is created, feel free to move this post into the new topic.

Note to Self: If this info is already mentioned on the forum and I missed it, then STUPID! STUPID! STUPID!

I really need to browse this forum more often...

Or perform a search before I post...

Oh well, it's still exciting.

I sincerely doubt that anyone's enjoyment can be reduced from knowing what the bonus features are (unlike ALbum #12). Quotes and material from the bonus material could be different but we probably won't have to worry about those for a while.

I said this in a different thread, but :whoot: I can't wait for this! It's great that we have at least a tentative date!
