KAY here's a BIG HOOLIGAN story from Friday...ready??

We were doing this group assignment in English class (AP Comp) and I was of course grouped with a nice senior, and someone who's hated me since the 5th grade. Yep, it's been awhile! Anywho, the assignment involved teaching the class four literary terms which we were also assigned. One of ours was : PARODY!! Since we had to come up with examples, I was dying to mention Al but didn't think it could be musical. When we asked the teacher for a little guidance with examples, guess who she mentioned!! I was extremely proud of her!! Unlike the other two members of my group who then began to talk about "Yankovich". :stern: Well, that didn't classify them as Hooligans...it was the next comment that got me going...Cari (that's the girl who hates me) said "What songs does he sing? Girls just wanna..shop?"

Ok. Clueless perhaps. But not yet to hooligan level.

I corrected her on the title and spellings, etc. I mentioned "I love Weird Al, he's my favorite artist!"

Cari's reply? "He's not an artist, he's a waste of space."

No, I didn't kill her. I didn't even try. I restrained myself and pretended I didn't even hear her, because she tries to tick me off...

All I kept thinking was, "Where's MAMA BEAR!?!?"

There's the hooligan story. She truly is a hooligan in all senses of the word...

^was happy when another group member called her out for saying she hated me...that girl needs to be put in her place sometimes, but not by me...

Cat, here's a little known AL-Gal secret. I'll share it with you...

You can be your own Mama Bear! Yes, that's right! Just make sure you represent our boy with the class that he deserves.

I try, but it's hard to do when a coworker calls Al a jerk. I swear, I almost lost my cool about that. On the outside, anyway. I finally told an Alfan co-worker that Al will be around when all that twit's rappers are either in jail, paying child support or six feet under. That made me feel a bit better.

I tried. But I am a weak creature, easily stepped upon. And I didn't NOT defend Al. She just couldn't hear me say, "UM NO" under my breath...(that was like a reflex reaction and it was kinda snotty!)

^wishes she could have said more without getting in trouble...

Yeah, I almost missed him on that show. It was almost 3 am by the time they got to Al! I caught the end, when they played part of LAS. I had seen that show before. He should have been #1, but Spinal Tap is pretty funny, so, I'll let it slide.

Oh, well, everyone has their different tastes. Still, #3 is very respecatable.

I definitely think he is funnier than the Simpsons episode.
