I just voted, but then I tallied my concerts and maybe I should have waited a few months.

RWS: 31 shows. OC Fair 2002: 4 shows. PH: 11 shows Total shows to date: 46 shows.

Assuming all goes well, Wednesday night in Orange County will make my 50th Al show.

EDIT: I forgot Leisenring PA 10/23/00 [the show I had to leave midway due to a blinding migraine]. RWS: 32; total: 47 shows. The first show at OC Fair will be number 50 wahoo!

50 shows? Cool! It'll be a while before I even hit double digits, but I'm happy for whatever concerts I can get to at all.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I'm going to my first at the OC Fair! I'm so excited. I am also glad that the Griffith Park fire didn't destroy the Greek Theater. Al might play there because he has played there at the last two tours, and that's pretty close to my house.

I'm also glad the Greek survived. Where else would we find a venue with such an Al-auspicious street number, zip code AND phone number?

Also, according to MapQuest, it is 27.86 miles from my house. :F

"Yeah, I really do think." Sorry, I like that song. That's freaky OE. So many 27's. Whoa, the number is (323) 665-1927. 6+6+5+1+9=27. Sweet.

Only one. :( Damn uni and lack of funds... I'd thought about trying for the March 24 concert in Canberra - I grew up there, and could have stayed with my mum - but even if I could have afforded the airfare and ticket, I doubt my friend in Canberra would have gone with me, and I didn't need to give my mother yet another reason to rant about my obsession. (Besides, she would have gone spare over me spending the money on airfares for two days' stay anyway...)

So my only concert to date was March 17, Burswood Theatre, Perth, Western Australia.

Wishing I could save money to catch some US shows, but I would have saved neither the money or the leave time from work to be able to go to any before uni goes back next semester. :(

I guess I'll have to wait until next time... Damn late-fandom. There's at least one more show I could have gone to if I'd known about it.

REviving this topic, because I got curious as to how many I've been to--I'd lost track.

Through the end of the 2010 tour (this includes tickets bought, but shows that have not happened yet) I am at 61. Seems I totally missed 27 x 2 when I was at the Atlantic City show a few weeks ago!
