Hope I don't get in trouble for saying this, but if I end up buying the vinyl copies first and it doesn't include a download code, I'll probably track it down online and download it so I have digital copies to use. Doubt there's any harm in that if I own the albums already, not only in original form, but in a remastered format as well...

I SOOOO BADLY want the vinyl edition of this, but I'm SURE it'll cost an arm and a leg, in fact all new vinyl nowadays is pretty expensive (for example, a 9 Vinyl Monty Python set is $200+!!!) CD would be great but only if it comes in the same packaging. Digital download is totally out of the question, not worth the compressed quality. My other worry as mentioned by some above is the digital download with a vinyl edition. I don't care as much about the albums but I REALLY want the rarities, and it won't be quite the same converted to MP3s from the vinyl. I guess I'll have to wait and see for the PledgeMusic page Bermuda was referencing to be announced and see what can be afforded!!

I don't care how many body parts it costs me. I'm buyin' that vinyl squeezebox.

Very nice! Do you think there's any chance of getting at least one new song in this collection? Kind of like "Headline News" was included in the Permanent Record box set? We're coming up on almost 3 years without a new Al song, so would be cool to get a little something new among all the older stuff.

I would imagine that there would be at the very least two new songs. It just seems odd that there wouldn't be any new material included at all.
