Today and tomorrow is the 9th anniversary of AlCon III. This was an important event to me, as it was a bright spot in 2002 after suffering the loss of my daughter a month before. She was not forgotten, either, because my stand-up was all about her. I am so glad I was able to attend. Thanks again to Amanda and all involved in organizing this. It was fantastic!

Oh man, so sorry to hear about your daughter, that is very unfortunate, you must be much stronger now because of it! That is totally awesome you went to that, Ive always wanted to go to one of those, wonder when he will do another one, maybe in the next couple years hopefully!

Well, the name AlCon is Amanda Cohen's, and she said it's too much work, so there will be no more AlCons. There was an AlFest in CA in 2009. Maybe someone will organize another. If it's out in CA again, I won't be able to go. Thank you for the condolences. A number of AlCon attendees were very sweet and offered condolences as well. Al fans are wonderful people.
