Anywho, I understand Al felt a little 'weird' about dressing up as...HIMself...(Vintage AL)..it is pretty odd if you think about it...

My dad talked to Joe Walsh at a gig at the Indpendence Rec Center before they were big...

Speaking of celebrity surprises, Don Mclean once called my house! It was on accident though, he was looking for a friend and dialed the wrong number.

Hey whats Rove Live thing I heard Al is going to be on it. On Sept 30 at 9:30 pm. I think its channel ten Im not sure.

Ok, I hate to sound stupid but what network is Drew Carey on? please don't hit me. It's just been a REALLY long time since I've watched it and I REALLY want the episode on tape. Speaking of celebs on the phone, I've talked to Mark Slaughter on the phone twice. He knew a friend of mine. First my friend did a 3way call and the second time Mark called my house all on his own. What, you don't know who he is? He was the EXTREMELY cute lead singer for the band Slaughter. Ok, I'll go back on topic now, what network was that again? :lookround:

I just checked Rock on TV, and that episode will be on TBS at 5:00 pm on 10/1. Mark Slaughter, huh? Cool! *I liked Blas Elias myself* hehe!

Thanks Patti! I will have my VCR ready! Yeah, Blas is cool too. One funny thing I remember from the phone call was Dana kept yelling in the back ground for Mark to get off the phone. He was just doing it to be funny though. You could just tell. He kept picking up the phone and saying stuff and laughing. It was quite an interesting phone call. That was the second phone call. They both seemed really nice. Somewhere around here I have an autographed magazine cover that my friend sent to me. OK. back on topic now. Sorry!

I am resigned to the fact that I will never see Al's appearance on DC. I tried taping it again, and got lots of stuff, but none of it included our boy. Sigh.
Can someone at least get a screen capture?
