Just an update RE: the R&RHOF petition/volunteers:
I've been in conversation with Greg Method - you know, the guy in charge of driving this petition campaign....and since the per concert quota has increased, I would like to offer up some concert "swag" for any additional volunteers.
We have already signed up, name badges have been printed, sent, and received by:
Alinite27 (should still have yours from Kettering)
bigdawg
Kaffy©
weirdalgurl
& me
Can I entice a few more backup people with their own namebadge if they sign on to help collect signatures.
I also have some business cards I will hand out to you to help spread the word about the two campaigns - Rock & Roll HOF and Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They also show WOWAY's address to encourage more fans to join in the fun that is being a fan of Al's.
Anyone up to the challenge?

Howdy!
This question may have been answered somewhere else in this thread but I can't seem to find it - is Kings Island an inside or outside venue? I've never been there but will be attending the show and was wondering what to wear.
Thanks!

King's Island is an amusement park, so if you plan on doing anything at all during the day, I would dress cool. As for the amphitheatre where the show takes place, it is also outside and is bleacher seating. However, with the show most likely not starting until around 8-8:30..depending on the sunlight situation, it should be a little cooler in the evening.

Thanks for the info! Ugh! I hope the heat breaks a bit for the show.

8:30 will probably be the worst thing for meeting Al after the show. I have only been to one other concert there but left before the encore. It was my first concert ever, didn't even know about em. Anyway the park closes at 10PM that day, meaning the concert will most likely run untill or past closing time. Is there anywhere outside the park where we can catch the busses leaving by chance, if they don't let us stay inside?

Well, the actual show time is 7:30. So, if it starts then, they should let lingering around last a little longer than usual. However, hanging around inside never seems to work anyway. Steve did come back out to the stage and sign a couple things after the last show there, though. I said 8:30 just because I figured by the time the sunlight worked out with the video, and they had everything set, it would be around that time. Probably a little bit earlier around 8:15. Who knows, it's never that predictable.
However, unless one comes out to the stage without a pass you don't really have much of a chance here. I do know that a few people one time here did find the road that the bus came out, but it never stopped. I've never been able to find that road, though...so I don't think I'm going to try to find the bus here.

I've been checking the 10-day forcast for a while now. First the forecast was for 90 degree, but today it's showing 72 degrees for a high that day. What! And a 10% chance of rain. Well, what do they know anyway.
