A fan actually told me once that a certain person (I'll call him B*rm*d*) may actually be the reason why we don't see more rarities, because he likes to have an exclusive collection...

But whether that's true or not, I would have no idea.

Yeah, like none of us have ever thought of that... Honestly, if it was out there, Elvis would have a copy.

My guess is, that if there is a live recording, only Bermuda has it, and it's not being shared for whatever reason. I suspect that it's more of a quality issue (Al seems to be a a tad critical of his early work) and less of an offense issue. I've asked just to be able to have lyrics, but to no avail.

:stern: Yeah. Cuz he's selfish with the fans like that. I mean, all the hours and hours he spent collecting what is now weirdal.com for years before he ever got paid for it. And all the time he spends answering fan email, and doing chats with us. And just being an approachable, very likable guy. Man, he's just a horrible person. <_<

ETA: Why didn't you make an actual poll, instead of just asking for "Ayes?"

I don't believe polls can be made outside of the Polls & Games forum.

If Dr. D knows that Al is really, seriously not-proud of that song, he probably wouldn't play it even if requested. He wouldn't want to embarrass his friend.

Well my requests for Doctor D Superstar have gone unanswered for years now, so I doubt it. And Al might not have even sent it in to Dr. D.

well I wasn't even close to being born then either. I was born during the first part of the Bad Hair Tour, of course I didn't even know about Al until like, 2005 or 04.

According to the Mothership, "Dr. D Superstar" never received airplay.
