I don't feel right complaining about my savior, but...I do wish he were as accessible as Bermuda has traditionally been. And now it seems Ask Al is no longer part of the Mothership, so the best we can do is comment on Al's mySpace or Facebook pages, but it doesn't feel like like we can really communicate with him. But big Kudos with cheese to Bermuda for being the Al/fan liason all these years

Most of the things we "don't like" about Al boil down to us wanting MORE of/from him. We should all get such criticism! :D

The "worst" part about being an Al Gal is that it's like window shopping at Tiffany's: you can look, you can admire and you can desire...but you can never have.

(sigh) I have loved him for so long. I just want him to know... :inlove:

sorry. I'll take my unrequited passion over to the Drool Topic where it belongs...

You do know he tweets quite regularly. And posts pics and vids. And you can post to him if you want to. He's pretty darned accessible these days. More so than he was when I first became a fan.

I will say that I sent something to Suzanne this year via CPFOA and she received it. So that avenue does still exist, and still work.

I do miss regular Ask Als, but Al gives us daily treats on Twitter. And you have to remember that Al's priorities are different. He has a family. And weeding through Ask Al questions every month was probably getting tedious.

The thing I dont like about Al, we never hang out anymore. And even when we do hang out he charges me fifty bucks and brings another couple hundred people .

The thing I like least about Al: I might say it`s that je joked Canadians, but it`s not true - as a Quebecer, I totally agree with what he said since our French side and the English side don`t really apreciate each other and we voluntarily inslt each other for fun (we call English Canadians square-heads, so...).

Nah, the thing I like least is that he never came to Montreal. I`ve been asking around since some weeks, and I was surprised of the number of people who knew him before I discovered him. Wait, I was not surprised, I was astonished. Yeah, I bet there would be a lot of people if he ever came to Montreal. Maybe the room would be full... he`d be at the Pepsi Coliseum or Bell Center... If he was a quebecer he would be on the Plains of Abraham. If he was a demi-god of music (which he almost is), he`d be in the Olympic Stadium.

Well, duh! That`s South Park. Of course they got it wrong. THough the one behind looks like Al`s previous style. Let me just tell you...

They all live on donuts and moose meat
Yeah, right. If only I had a good bovine steak... Sarcastically I have never ever eaten moose meat. But donuts, yes.

Never even bring their guns to the mall
We don`t have NRA.

Their stupid Monopoly money
Sure we got faces on it, but don`t you?

Well maple syrup and snow's what they export
Maple syrup rules. However I heard snowless people prefer coming. (and then, when they arrive in their small winter clothes, and see how rude the winter here is, we tell em: "We told you to bring your hottest clothes, winter is a pain!"

They treat curling just like it's a real sport
Curling sucks at all rates, only women with Obsessive Compulsive Trouble about brooms play that.

Then again well they got Celine Dion
And we`re proud to say she`s always less and less there. Should I mention she`s quebecer originally? Well while she`s in USA she finally stops getting on our nerves.

See the map, they're hoverin' right over us
Yeah, but the quota people-per-kilometer is far higher in US than in Canada. You won that one, but great leader is still China (or maybe Japan, I mess up these two).

Anyway yeah, maybe we like that song for its exxagerations and the fact it jokes English Canada, but we Quebecers hate having to pay for Federal and Provincial (but we`re getting in politics and that`s unauthorized here).

...and for South Park, I heard they will soon begin do it in Quebec French. Finally they`ll hav eplenty of choice for swearing! Goodbye the F word, the Sh... and all these. Hi the os... tab... cal... and the hundred different. Not gonna post the list.
