The Christmas Miracle* show last night was MUCH FUN! Rain in Southern California certainly keeps the comedy rock fans at home, but we had an okay turn-out. Mr. Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz was even in attendance!
Dino-Mike, despite feeling under the weather, was in full "Dino-Mike" mode.
Raymond And Scum...well, we very a little "goofier" and "experimental" than usual. I had fun. Matt's still trying to decide whether or not he liked what we did.
Sudden Death (a.k.a. Mr. Multimedia) was bustin' rhymes like it ain't no thang. Chris Waffle joined him on stage for "Dead Rappers".
Next up was Hot Waffles, who were on top of their game, showing off for the gang from Warp 11.
Throwing Toasters hit the stage after the Waffle Brothers. My new favorite Throwing Toasters song is "On Your Mom Again." So out of character from Grant...and that's exactly why it works so well.
The Great Luke Ski wrapped it all up for us (pun intended.) Luke certainly puts on a great show. Lots of energy, lots of fun. Chris Waffle came back to the stage for a third time to help Luke perfom "Fangirls Shake That Booty."
After the show, I got a chance to talk to Luke and Tom "Devo Spice", two dudes I had never met before. Cool guys. Very cool guys.
Good times had by all!

Did you read the posts in question?
So you joined just to come here and try to pick a fight? Not on my watch, my friend...
Oh, and welcome aboard, Tony.![]()
Yeah, I read em - like the one where someone accused Luke of telling them to **** off online - I'd call that a dis, apparently since "**** off" apparently means the same thing as "I'd love to read you type out 'Hey buddy, listen to my stuff! I'm a comedy music artist too, right? Right?' thirteen million times, but right now I'm trying to write a new song, or figuring out details of an upcoming gig, or heaven forbid, talking to my wife or girlfriend and would rather not be disturbed at the moment."
You really know how to make a guy feel welcome, don'tcha Scotti? Well, don't worry, I'm not staying.

P.S. What the hell is it with all the yellow emotion faces? Are they for people who can't read, or just people who can't write?
And...gone.

How was Scotti being rude?

And what's wrong with smileys? Is it really a sign of limited intelligence, because a lot us use them? Way to dis half the forum, Tony.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

I know I wouldn't call that a diss. It's just presenting a (supposed) fact. However, I suppose later in that post Jace did diss Luke a little, but he's said he's sorry.Tony Goldmark @ Dec 8 2004, 02:12 PM wrote: Yeah, I read em - like the one where someone accused Luke of telling them to **** off online - I'd call that a dis, apparently since "**** off" apparently means the same thing as "I'd love to read you type out 'Hey buddy, listen to my stuff! They're for people who want to show their emotions without writing "I'm feeling happy/I meant that in jest/I'm laughing out loud" and for people who don't want to have to read those sentences.P.S. What the hell is it with all the yellow emotion faces? Are they for people who can't read, or just people who can't write?
Oh wait...

Well, they're easier to use, and they're fun too. You might have seen them at, oh, I dunno, ANY proper forum on the internet.
I think he just thinks that Scotti was saying he was a troll, and in a way it could percieved like that. However, in another way, she was just defending WOWAY's policies. It's never a nice line to tread along, but it has to be done, as long as it's just a light warning, nothing serious.Antontherun wrote: How was Scotti being rude?
