When I was a kid, I met paleontologist Robert Bakker (name-dropped in Jurassic Park, and his fictional counterpart, Dr. Burke, is eaten by a T. rex in The Lost World: Jurassic Park), and he signed my copy of the book Hunting Dinosaurs, for which he wrote the forward, plus a poster.
My best friend from high school (with whom I met Al at the SOL album signing) once met Haley Joel Osment at our local guitar shop.
