Well, I don't have any pics to contribute, but if I could, I would post pics from that Animal Planet show where he's with his poodle, Bela (I haven't even seen the whole show, but part of it is on YouTube... does anyone know where to find a copy that's completely intact?) I particularly like the black & white pic at 1:01:

Hm...I guess they don't think he's all gorgeousness and superduper hotness anymooooore~ :F
I can only speak for myself, but to tell the truth, I'm a little embarrassed to do much drooling in public just now. I had a VERY VERY lucky year as far as meet & greets, and while it's harmless fun to drool over a media figure who doesn't even know I exist, Al doesn't fit that description. I've had enough recent handshakes and hugs and snippets of conversation that my brain has clicked over from the "dreamboat celebrity" behavior rules to the "guy I kind of actually know" behavior rules. So I'm striving to put a lid on it, at least part of the time, imperfect though that lid may be. That doesn't mean I don't notice. Especially when Al sat in my lap.

Actually, that's basically how I was originally going to answer! Once Al knows who you are, it gets harder (or feels weirder) to squeal and make a big fuss over him in that way, especially if you think there's a chance he might see it. A lot of people on this board might feel the same way after having met him so many times (not that I'm speaking for them, but just as a wild guess). But the tradeoff is totally worth it.

Having said that, in my opinion, Wanna B Ur Lovr and Craigslist are never off-limits (within reason) because he's the undeniable instigator. He wants our collective reactions or he wouldn't be doing what he does. Especially in Craigslist, where, quite frankly, I think he succeeded in hypnotizing me from the stage (I'm not easily hypnotized, but I felt like I was caught in a stare that I just couldn't shake myself out of... it really freaked me out at first until I was assured by other fans that this is a normal response!) In fact, I think if we didn't respond to those songs in that way, he would probably be a bit disappointed. What do I know, of course, but in addition to getting laughs for all those antics and efforts to entertain us, I would think he probably likes getting the feedback that he's seen as attractive as well. It's only human nature.

Just because I rarely end up posting in this thread (and note the tameness of my previous post) doesn't mean other people should stop, though! I like the energy. It's sort of like listening to cheering at a live concert. The wilder the cheering gets, the more it revs you up.

Exactly, Kat. Al onstage has amazing magnetism. It really astonishes me sometimes when I see early video of a cute but gawky & awkward young Al that he has grown into a performer with so much charisma and appeal. And I'm sure he does like getting the feedback (the silver suit was in the setlist for nine years, after all). It's not just human nature, either; for a performer, being pleasing to the eye is also a definite career asset. And when a song like WBUL comes up, Al's definitely working to achieve a certain effect. But Al offstage is a very different matter. He's warm, friendly, approachable... and totally non-flirtatious. I treasure the occasional Al-hug, but it's exactly the same kind of hug I get sometimes at church, from men standing there on the steps with their wives. And that's the spirit I take it in.

I understand what you ladies are saying. <3

It's just that... see...
I haven't met him in person yet...

And I guess I get a little crazy sometimes when going through threads like this, 'cause I'm a bit overwhelmed with how happy it makes me to see that I'm not the only girl in the world who thinks he's not only talented and hilarious and adorable, but also a very, very attractive guy.
It's EXACTLY his warm, approachable, non-flirtatious (as in, not flirty-flirty...but the way we know he is in his own way. WBUL, come on.), "unaware of how hot he is" way that I fell in love with when I was a teenager (which was just a few years ago), and that I'm falling for all over again now, for the past month or so... except now I'm really, really noticing just how gorgeous he is in addition to how he amazes me with his intelligence and uniqueness and heart in everything he does.
And that gorgeousness on the outside is just a reflection of all that inner beauty.

And I know that even after that amazing, wonderful day comes when I meet him... I... really don't see my feelings changing at all.
I'll just have confirmation that, when I get to see all that same sweetness in his eyes that I've been familiar with from a distance for so long... I know I'll just love him even more. (And of course, with all due respect to him and to Suzanne as well. <3)

So, that's my (lame) explanation for why I'm a little... random in here. ^^; And I haven't even been at WOWAY that long.
I'm sorry- he just...makes me so nuts, I swear! >.<

I'm with you, Alouette. You and I are pretty much on the same page :)

And I don't care if he knows that I find him attractive, so long as I'm not crossing any lines in any way. It's not like if we finally do meet I'm gonna get down on one knee and proclaim my undying love for him or anything like that :P But if he happens to find out through other means, like reading this forum topic, that's fine with me.

Aww, thank you! <3

Oh, gosh, I know what you mean...
I only hope I don't say anything stupid or get all emotional when I meet him, gahhh ;.;!

Why not? That's a time-honored tradition too. Al deals really well with fan freak-outs, and he won't think you're an idiot, either.

;n;! I do hear, constantly (and loving every time I hear it!), that Al's love and patience with his fans is unbelievable...

But I'm like... oh, geeze, Al is just so sweet and adorable and- and gjkbljfdls *spaz* ;.; he is such an amazing person and so beautiful physically, too!
I mean, I even kinda get lost in his eyes looking at photos/watching interviews! @.@

Sometimes I think, I might (/most likely) get really overwhelmed, and I might say something like "you're awesome, I love you."
:oo Would it be really terrible if I let that slip?! I even feel like I might be kind of awful if I want to give him a little kiss on the cheek.. o/////o

The last thing I would EVER EVER want to do is creep Al out in any way, so I reaaally gotta restrain myself omg. !!
