Welp, girlies, somehow I am still alive and have completely recovered from my drooly spazzy fit over Al-ariffic hotness last night.

I feel like stealing a time machine, going back to the 80s when he was adorable (but not quite so hot yet!) and telling him: "Okies, Al...whenever you decide to lose those glasses... make sure to WARN your female fans about your face, 'cause behind those specs YOU ARE PACKING SOME SERIOUS HEAT, MISTER."

To my mind, it wasn't the glasses that hid the hotness so much as the mustache (sorry, mustache fans)

I must say I agree. I definitely prefer him post Lasik and clean shaven for "sexiness." He was cute enough before, but hotness definitely went way up later..

I think Al looks good clean shaven, but I do love when he sports the goatee. He had one when I met him for the very first time, on April 27, 2002. He looked quite handsome.



His hand was on my shoulder. Sometimes, I can still feel his arm on my back when I look at this photo. I have 2 pics from that day. My avatar shows the 2nd pic. These were taken at AlCon III. I love that he and I were both wearing glow bracelets.

Thanks, Alouette! It was an awesome convention, and Al was very nice and very patient with me. I hope you get to meet him someday, too. I know it'll be awesome, because he's very patient and kind with fans, especially when it's the first time they've met him.
