I'm with Jeremy on this one. The joke has definitely gotten old. He's been doing it since his earliest concerts.

But remember, not everyone goes to multiple shows like we do. I agree, its an old bit, but then again, hes been performing Eat It for like 28 years now!

Compared the drum solo, Eat It has depth and substance.
oh, and I really don't like any of the golf jackets. JMO

Actually, I posted about the drum solo in an earlier thread. On my "wish list" for a future concert would be to hear a real kick-ass solo from any of the band members! It could still involve a funny gag of some sort. I had also thought it could be funny if one band member started a solo and then another band member immediately cut him off with his own solo, trying to show off to the audience... basically have all the band members competing with each other for the spotlight in an attempt to try to make the audience go wild for them. I'm not sure how all the chaos would end, but the solos would be awesome in their own right, because I know those guys have the chops (and could be varied in style, of course, depending on their moods that day). Hmmm, maybe it could end with an angry Steve pretending to poke Ruben's eyes out? (with appropriate sound effect?)

Of course, this is all fantasy on my part, but I like to dream. The possibilities for gags are endless.
