That would be excellent! And probably likely since the special will be on Comedy Central. Al with Jon Stewart for the first time in almost 20 years! Let's just hope the interview doesn't end with Al covered in mustard and chocolate pudding this time!TMBJon wrote:This is so awesome. Now he just has to appear on The Daily Show and/or The Colbert Report and life will be grand.

Cool! Thanks!
Hopefully I'll be able to find some place to watch that after the show, if my hotel doesn't have Comedy Central. Or even better, maybe those of us going to the Atlanta show could meet up somewhere after and have a little party-celebration while watching the special.

Re: Comedy Central Special, DVD/Blu-Ray Release
Al just tweeted this:
"Here’s the cover for my DVD/Blu-Ray (out Oct. 4) illustrated by the legendary rock poster artist COOP": http://twitpic.com/635rqg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Looks even more badass, except maybe for the Band-Aid...
I love it!
I think those are zombies behind him....I'm tellin' ya!

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

Upon further examination of the cover it is pretty rockin. I like it quite a bit. He looks like he just finished rocking out on the accordian and now he's about to fight off the crazed accordian zombies

This DVD cover looks even better every time I look at it, especially in full resolution!

Yes, I have to say that, I may have spoken too soon on the cover. While I still don't like the fact that it's illustrated, this is a really cool illustration now that I have seen it in full res from the twitter upload. There's little neat things in the pic. It will work fine.

Re: Comedy Central Special, DVD/Blu-Ray Release
I didn't' understand the hate when I first posted the link to the cover. I liked it when I first saw it and the high-res version makes it look even better. I think it looks a lot better than the cover of the last live DVD. I thought that one looked amateurish/hastily put together.
