Yeah, I had the curly hair. I have a feeling the Steve grapic is gonna be a new meme ,lol.
My review: The show was pretty good, but it truthfully wasn't as great as the Reading one because of the small stage. A little before 7:00 P.M. someone had a remote control R2D2 in front of the theater, i have no idea if Al knows about this, but still, it was cool. Once I got into the theater, it was about 20 minutes until the show started.
Polka Face: It was awesome as usual, but I noticed Al's voice was a tiny bit hoarse for it.
Frank's 2000" TV: Great in general .
You Don't Love Me Anymore: I think Al, messed up on a word on this one, but it wasn't very noticable. The guitar smash was(sorry for the overused word) epic.
Smells Like Nirvana: Al purposly "forgot" the lines "Oh well, I guess it pays to rehearse, the lyrics sheet's so hard to find", which I haven't seen before.
Skipper Dan: It was good as usual, but the person who gave him the hat seemed less than happy to be doing it.
Your Pitiful: The FREE HUGS shirt was used instead of the three wolf moon shirt that I've seen. I don't really have much more to say about this one .
Dare to Be Stupid: It looked like there were newer costumes . The song was pretty good, but Al's voice was a little different than usual for this one.
CNR: Me likey the costume

Let Me Be Your Hog: Before this one, Al gave an explanation and about its meaning because "a lot of people misinterpreted the meaning" of it. haha
Canadian Idiot: It was funny, Al kept flinging the microphone stand around a lot more than I've seen.
Wanna B Ur Lovr: Steve was really getting into the "sexiness vibe", haha. Al went down the left row first, where I was, which was unusual(but hey, i'm not complaining

)When Al's shoe broke, the lady he fell on didn't seem to mind too much ;P.
The medely: It was good, but I noticed that "I'm in Luv Wit Da Skipper" was cut out.
Craigslist: I really hope those comments I made about the pants weren't loud enough for the kids in front of me to hear.

Amish Paradise: Good as usual.
White and Nerdy: The rapping was great, don't have a lot to say about this one.
Fat: He messed up and grabbed his crotch twice during this one( leave it to an Al Gal to notice that lol ) , but other than that, it was preformed perfectly.
We All Have Cell Phones: Just beautiful .
The Saga Begins: Done pretty much perfectly, although It wasn't the same without the stormtroopers (sad)
Yoda: Many people sang along with the "regular" part of the song, but most of them looked so confused during the Yoda Chant lol.
After the show, Steve stayed to talk to some people, but security made the people without passes to leave before anyone else came . Whoever owned the R2D2 had it out again. Apperantly it can "sing" Yoda.

Adrian!! That Steve graphic made my day!
Nice review, lolzla! (sorry i don't know your real name >.<) I was talking to Mike after the show, and he said that "Skipper" was cut out of the last two American sets as part of the dress rehearsals for the UK tour. I guess they're not terribly familiar with the show over there.

So the seats I thought were on the opposite ends of the theater actually DID end up being together. They have two rows of seats in front of the orchestra seats that aren't on the seating chart. Our seats were the second row all the way to the far left. Well lo and behold, a family of four had two seats next to ours and two in the center section on the aisle and didn't want to be separated so they asked us if we would mind taking their two center orchestra seats if they could have all four seats on the side together. Well they didn't have to twist our arms. We went from thinking we wouldn't be seated together to 2nd row center aisle in about a half hour! The seats were outstanding and my lady got her WBUL singing to because of the upgrade

Don't think it's been mentioned yet, but the stage manager (don't know his name) actually performed the drum solo while Bermuda brought Al his guitar for You Don't Love Me...
Glad to see Jeremy one more time this tour but we had to take off immediately after the show for a change because we went with my brother and his family for their first show. My 10 year old niece LOVED it and it looks like we have another fan for life. So glad we got to see one more show this tour to hold us over for the long winter.

Nice work, (as usual!) Adrian!
I was having issues with getting the first half of the show off my memory card (I filled the end of the card I've been using midway through Luvr. Yay. And then my computer won't see my camera with this card in it) Dave's netbook could see the card and he downloaded it to the netbook...now to just get that to my Mac and get Stroudsburg up. I did end up taking far more photos than I thought I had though.

*I apologize for this being so long, and especially if you read it all...I basically just put my retrospective in this topic, since it was the last show*
Left around 9 from our hotel in Cleveland and got on the one road to Stroudsburg. The drive was basically simple, but very long. The numbers up to 300 just seemed to be slower and slower. Although, we passed the time by watching Pixar movies and listening to Al. Got into Stroudsburg around 4, and just got out by the venue. Stroudsburg didn't seem to be a very exciting town. Walked around to see what we could get to eat, although, I wish we could have met up with everyone else to have dinner. Was Siamsa a nice place? We saw it on the street later in the day. Walking around to get food, we saw Wayne go into this Chinese restaurant near the venue...and he invited us in to eat with him. So, it was so cool that our dinner before Al's last show was with a member of Al's crew. Wayne and I passed memories of some different cities to each other, talked about the drives, venues, etc. We just talked about tons of stuff. It was really cool as he surprised Anna with a phone call from a guy in another band she knows. Wayne is such a nice guy. We finished up eating, and we went and found the bus...and Wayne was waiting for his ride to the hotel, so that he could rest up before having to travel home after the concert. Talked a little more before his ride came, and he requested that the top of the jeep be lifted..haha..and then have his picture taken. He's such a funny guy...
We had an hour and so before the doors opened for the show, so we wandered around the town of Stroudsburg. We filmed some different videos, as well as the one we had filmed with Wayne. We played around with R2D2 in front of the theater, and checked out some "different" bands that were playing at the festival. Got to see Steve and Jim before the show. Both looked to be very tired. Ended up back at the front of the theater. The guy that brought R2 spoke to us, and it was very entertaining watching him freak people out casually walking on the street with him. Right before the doors opened, I got to see Dave and Terri. So nice getting to see them again. Introduced Anna to them, and then they opened up the doors to the theater. Made our way into the separate queues. It was hilarious whenever Dave mentioned it was just like a Disney ride. They opened up the theatre around 7:30.
Anna and I found our seats, which ended up being 7th row on the right aisle in front of Steve. Wish I would have known about the 2 rows up front, but where we were were really good seats. Loved the overview of the entire stage, and with the stage being so small it was unique to see the band so together. Our seats ended up being right in front of Mike and his little girl, which was cool. We chatted before the show. Also, James and his group were 2 rows in front of us. It was awesome to be surrounded by so many friends here. It kinda felt like the OC Fair show, except with out all of the celebrities...
The beginning to the concert was very fun. Bermuda and Hawk-eye (the Stage Manager) traded roles. That was cool. Al took all of his built up frustrations out on the guitar, as he had an extended foot stomping session tonight with it. The new UK show looked to be just a bit more polished than Cleveland, even after just 1 night. Al was able to make it out in time for Skipper Dan, with the missing video clip. With the those first 2 different things in the Drum Solo, and YDLMA, I expected that the rest of the concert would be like that. It wasn't, but it was a very cool show. The little stage seemed to take some energy out of the guys, especially Steve...that picture was hilarious Adrian. But, a really fun show to watch together with Anna. Anna got the "You can tell me truthfully, am I steaming hunk of love now, or what?" I think she agreed that he was. We did all of the different video clip interviews together, and just had a blast together at our last show. I really did not want the last few songs to come. I was basically very emotional during the encore, because at that time, I realized this was the end. At least, we could be together for this, though...as Anna felt the same way. During Saga, I yelled "I Love You Al!" and he responded with "Thank You"! That helped to have a conclusions to the concerts, especially since I didn't get to see Al afterwards.
After the show, I got to talk to Dave and Terri for one last time, as they left. It's so fun seeing them at shows. One of the things I miss the most about touring is seeing my Al family. Made our way on out to the bus, and saw Steve packing some different things up. Not much was happening around the bus area, so we went up to the equipment truck area where everyone else was...hoping that Ozzy would put us in some form of line for a meet, although I guess Al just was ready to go home. It was really nice, though, as we got to see everyone in the band. Spent tons of time with Steve and Ruben. While getting to see Jim and Jon. I got to thank everyone of them for this tour, and I thanked Al during Saga Begins...so, it made it feel like this tour had a lot more closure. Another awesome part of the after-show was the amount of friends out there. Everywhere I looked was someone I knew...Dave, Jackie, Adrian, Anne, Mary, James, just a ton of people. All of our conversations were soo fun. Awesome to have time with Anna out by Ruben's section, too. That guy is always such a blast of fun. Him and I joked around about many things, while playing trivia, sharing ghost stories, etc...Wish I could have been at both places, though...since I'm sure Jon shared some fun stuff, too.
Jon was really cool tonight, though, and he gave Anna's letter to Al...of thanks for this tour. Very nice of him. It was getting close to after midnight when Wayne told us to meet back up with him at the bus, so I said my goodbyes and we headed over there. They were running people off anyway, as they had to get another equipment truck in there. We met up with Wayne for 1 last time. He searched for some different things on the bus, but he said it was pretty well swept clean. He said the only things left over were some WalMart clothes hangers, that he'd picked up the other day. He expected for the guys to leave something. He said that the boss was riding with them that night to go home, so he was trying to get everything ready. Told us that Al was on there, and that he was reading a paper (the letter), which he thought might have been his flight itinerary or something. We finally said our goodbyes. Really cool to be that close to Al's driver, though. Steve was getting ready to get on the bus and saw us standing there...so he came back over and chatted for a bit. We each got our picture with him, as well as hugs. I think I got 4 hugs from Steve. He told us about his new upcoming album again, and we told him we couldn't wait for it. He said he hoped that we would say that, and he had a surprise for us. He went and got copies of the 1st 4 songs off of it for us...that he had made into separate CDs for us. He said that we were some of the very 1st people to hear it. Listened to it a few times yesterday, all of the tracks are incredibly strong. Steve is such a wonderful, awesome guy. After that, and our Steve hugs, we decided to go home.
This tour has been such a blast at 32 shows, as it has felt like there was always a tomorrow. Now that there's not a tomorrow, I'm not exactly sure how to react. But, at least this tour was different than Lynwood. I had awesome friends to end these shows out with, established an incredible lifelong relationship this tour, and made so many friends with Al's crew and got much closer with Al's Band...especially Steve. It's so awesome when you travel to all these cities, and you know that the guys are still genuinely happy to see you when you're there.
All of the memories from the little show in Rehoboth, to seeing my favorite Al song Good Old Days performed for the 1st time (and Al telling me after the show, that it was due to my tweet, that he kept it in tour) in Reading, seeing You Make Me performed for the 1st time in a huge city like Washington, DC., meeting Al so many times and each time being special whether it was in the posed pics or in our conversations, to hearing Skipper Dan in sound-check at Atlantic City, having the awesome table 6 right next to the stage in Verona, getting my 2nd Smells Like Nirvana cup and a very very awesome posed pic in New Bedford, seeing the Whirly-Gig for the 1st time at Westbury, being in such a small-historic Al theater with tons of Al's fans in Glenside, the amazing encore at Gilford (one of the strongest of the tour), having all of the PNC fans get crammed into this little broken down theater in Asbury Park, getting to see Al, Suzanne, and Nina at Toledo for my 75th show and having an exclusive moment with them after the show, meeting Wayne for the 1st time through Steve's megaphone at Kettering, the discussion with Steve before the show at the beautiful amphitheater at Meadowbrook, seeing Steve again at Greensburg (which on SOL was the 1st place where I had a true conversation with him), the night I'll never foget in meeting Anna and her friends at Knoxville-while I'm sitting next to Steve in the Pit before the show, Al being at the Star Plaza for the 27,000th time in Merrillville, having the huge overview of the concert with the city in the background at Columbus, seeing Anna again at St. Louis and playing off security after the show, watching Wayne blow a car out of the parking lot in Wichita as Al ran out directly after the show (and Wayne later telling me that he had only done that with rappers fearing for their life), watching Al with my favorite uncle in Tulsa with Hanson in the crowd and Al confiming that he got Anna's letter (also, our conversation that night in planning out our FL trip together) and taking a picture of my CNR shirt with his phone, meeting Jared's friend Monica in Jacksonville, Anna and I having our first concert and dinner together at Hard Rock in Orlando-seeing all their memorabilia and Beatles stuff-then partying together with Jared, Dan, and Monica after the show, spending a few days together in Orlando at the theme parks and Anna making the Skipper Al doll while we were in line for rides (the looks on peoples faces were hilarious, as Anna's tearing apart a Disney doll), getting to request Let Me Be Your Hog at Melbourne, the after-show experience with Al at Boca-Raton with his reaction to the doll and Anna getting her letter out of Al's shirt, seeing Wayne in St. Petersburg, all of the interaction with Al and Steve at the OC Fair-with seeing Al's Brain in person-meeting tons of celebrities and fans for 2 days, spending an extra weekend in Milwaukee and Glen Ellyn with Anna (the meet in Milwaukee with Al getting nesting dolls and Steve showing my Dare To Be Stupid tour picture to everyone, the unexpected meet with the "27,000" people in Glen Ellyn and seeing Marty's DeLorean, and these last 3 shows this weekend with my two best friends. Al signing my Al-TV shoe in Rockford (then, the rest of the night in the hotel), going from the beautiful theater at Rockford to the Cleveland festival and Anna getting her lap-dance (then, the rest of the night in the hotel), and then this concert in Stroudsburg.
Thank you Al for such a fun summer...every night has been amazing and unforgettable!!!
