I am still kinda shocked and saddened by the news of Leslie Nielsen. I knew he was older, but my entire life was spent watching his movies, mainly the comedic stuff, but I did watch his dramatic stuff too.
Greatly talented actor, funny or serious. Eh.

On tonight's "Benson Interruption" on Comedy Central, Doug Benson and Brian Posehn got into a discussion over what age is appropriate to play Al's music for your kids. They wondered aloud whether it would be better to play all the original versions first and then Al, or just present all of AL's music as "completely original."

While we're still waiting for Al, it looks like we can celebrate the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's induction of an Al Pal
and a long snubbed artist who's gotten much fan support
Congrats to Alice Cooper!
(Let's hope this rubs off on Al)

Well, there are currently over 6,000 Google hits for the phrase "legendary Weird Al" (and they're not all from Al's press kit or from us) so we can hope, eh?
Big congratulations to Alice!

Alice Cooper is a great choice, but I am much more pumped about Tom Waits!

Agreed! Great to see Tom Waits get some love from the mainstream.

Elton's plug for Leon Russell worked, as did Bruce Springsteen's plug for Darlene Love. Now we just need a Rock Hall inductee to support Al.
