Well, I just got home about half-an-hour ago and the show was well-worth the six-hour drive to Columbus and then back again, despite having only a total of maybe 5 hours sleep in the last three days!
I ended up staying at the Knights Inn in Grove City, about 10 miles from the venue. Not much of a hotel but for $43, I wasn't expecting much and I just needed a place to get ready for the concert and to crash afterwards.
I got to the venue around 5:15pm and people started coming in a steady stream soon after. I found Greg and taped something for the Rock Hall project, although I don't remember exactly what I said and I have a feeling I was probably babbling due to fatigue-induced scatterbrains. I also met Louise, albinodwarf(sorry, I can't remember your name) and a few others--again I apologize for not remembering everyone's names! I also met a few non-WOWAY folks, including a mother who had to fuss at her son a little because he was so excited about the concert he kept checking her cellphone every two minutes to see how long before the gates opened!
My seats were great! Fourth row, middle section, second seat in, right in front of Steve! At one point, while Steve was checking his equipment before show, he looked at me like he recognized me but maybe wasn't sure from where. I guess he remembered me from meeting him after the Richmond show a couple of weeks ago, He smiled and gave me a little nod and I smiled back.
While I love "Bob" I was thrilled to finally get to hear WDTAHTM live for the first time. I had hoped for a line or two from WBUL but Al went up to the next section over. I did get some eye-contact from Al during AP; apparently Al is a million times as humble as I am! During CI, I was literally engulfed in streamers! They were still entangled a bit when it was time to leave and I almost tripped which would've been really embarrasing! I got quite a bit of SLN water tossed on me. One of the funniest moments was during AP. Evidently, someone in the front row wasn't doing the arm wave so Al stared them down. He also had a great stare down during "Albuquerque", even running back mid-sentence to give the person a second dose of the "wild-eyed stare". Not a lot of Yank-o-bucks at all; don't know if they were running out or if the machine was malfunctioning but I still have two from the Carowinds show last year so for me, it wasn't a huge deal.
I got some fantastic pictures! They're clearer and sharper than the Richmond photos. I got some great shots not only of Al but everyone in the band except Bermuda. I got the top of his head in a few pics.
I'll be posting them later. While we were waiting to see if Al was going to do a meet-and-greet, I was scrolling through the pics and got a lot of compliments on them. One woman even gave me her email address and asked me to send her a few.
We waited for about 45 minutes for a meet-and-greet but the bus left. I'm a little disappointed that I still haven't gotten to meet Al, Bermuda or Ruben yet but I know there's always next tour. I'll just have to wait until then!

What a great show! Luckily, I arrived in plenty of time, as the show didn't start until 8:30. It was a very high-energy show, and the crowd was great. I don't think I've ever heard so many people singing along at an Al concert. The seats, despite being very cramped, were excellent. I was second row, dead center. I was happy to hear WDTAHTM, as this was only the second time I had heard it live. I caught the cup during SLN, which is something I've always wanted to do. It's funny how a plain old plastic cup made me so happy. Albino Dwarf was sitting in front of me for part of the show, and she hit the WBUL jackpot. She was sung to at least four times. It was nice meeting new forum regulars, and the show was really a thrill. I didn't bother waiting for the buses since I had a 2-hour drive, and they were off in a secured enclosed area.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.
