We probably won't be getting there til close to start of the show.. have to wait for fiance to get off work at 5, get home 5:30, then head out then, and it's a good hour 15 min min drive so I guess we'll probably be arriving about 7pm. Then with this stupid shuttle thing I don't know how long it will take to get actually to the venue itself..

Did everyone see the notice on the Fraze site about the change in parking for this?? Apparently the Fairmont High School parking lot isn't going to be available so they want people to park at the Town & Country Shopping Center and are offering free shuttle service from there. Since I don't know the area, I'm not sure of other parking alternatives.

What does that do to those of us waiting after the show for Al?
Do they stop the shuttle at a certain time?
How far is it to walk?
What type of neighborhood is it?
How did I miss this shuttle thing?

Shuttle runs until 11 pm, per someone who answered the phone @ Fraze.

Called and talked to someone at Fraze:

This parking change is ONLY for people that bought parking passes with their tickets, ONLY if those parking passes were for the Fairmont High School lot.

What does that do to those of us waiting after the show for Al? Do they stop the shuttle at a certain time?

If you take the shuttle, and want to take the shuttle back, it ends at 11pm.

How far is it to walk?
What type of neighborhood is it?

She said it's about a 10-15 minute walk, and it's a good neighborhood "we have the police station right here next to us".

So *if* you are one of the folks that were slated for that parking area, *and* you want to stay late for a meet & greet, I'd bet you'll have to walk back to the shopping mall, so bring some tennis shoes!

Hope this helps,

I got a parking pass with my tickets (the parking pass was free, FYI), but it's for the 500/580 Building Lot, so it doesn't look like the change will affect me.

I bought my tickets on ebay, and haven't read anything bout needing a parking pass. They wouldn't want a parking pass for a shopping center, would they?

I'm thinking I should probably call the Fraze.

Shelly, thanks for the info. I didn't even know I had to park in a specific location. Now if I could only find my ticket. :)

I just found out this morning that I may or may not be able to go to this show. My great grandma has had a bad stroke, and the doctors don't expect her to make it through the weekend. As of right now, I still plan on going, because this is the 3rd time the doctors have made such a prediction (she's been fighting terminal cancer and congestive heart failure since january), but she's a lot sicker now than she was the first 2 times. Linda, I'll let you know for sure on thursday evening or friday morning so you'll know whether or not to bring my name tag.

Considering what you're up against, the nametag isn't a big deal! I've already made one version of them, but I think I need to re-do them a little smaller. Just pray that things work out for the best for your grandma, whatever that may be, and I'll bring it in case you're there. I'd rather err on the side of caution.

I'll be thinking of your family as they go through this difficult time, and hope that you are able to enjoy your evening.

*fingers crossed*
