*Shrugs* I can do it most of the time.

I actually sat there and played it over and over and over and over etc until I got it.
It was the first song I attacked to learn when I got the CD. I just had to do it to impress people.

Well, to be truthful with you, I'm not even sure what a kitchen faucet IS! But I'm sure we have them.

A kitchen faucet is the spigot that your water comes out of for the sink.

 I just noticed that Google kindly accompanied this discussion of Hardware Store with ads for Delta Kitchen Faucets and Clawfoot Tub Faucets. Just in case your Al fandom makes you suddenly decide to remodel your bathroom.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Since my last post, I've got it memorized so well that it's like second nature for me! I still have to take breaths, and I cant sing it completely coherantly (spelling? <_< ), but I've come a long way! :D

Your Horoscope For Today's bridge is also fun to say! That I can do no problem!

Congrats, Yank27! I can do the bridge too...it's pretty funny...my best friend says "Wha...how...but...that's...aw nevermind. Nerd!"

I've always wanted to share this little tale too, but I wanted to wait until I'd been around for a while:
I don't know if anybody lives in my area (I live in Porterville, CA), but our little town is sooo borning. The people who live here are just as boring...and man, did they get excited when we got a big 'ol Home Depot! It was JUST like the song!! Everybody was saying "oh yeah, I'm going to be first in line!" Like it was really, really going to be the greatest thing ever! Even funnier was the fact that it opened the same week Poodle Hat came out! Needless to say, I always blare it out of my car when I drive by and sing it at the top of my lungs when we go in.
Very tasty!

i have only been able to do the bridge once, which was during a talent contest at my local school.

i got my friend to remove weird al's voice to it, i sang it completly. i'm just glad the bridge comes at the end of the song because after i had completed i almost fainted.

i was told by one of my mates i only took two breaths during the bridge.

They've got allen wrenches, gerbil feeders, toilet seats, electric heaters
Trash compactors, juice extractor, shower rods and water meters
Walkie-talkies, copper wires, safety goggles, radial tires
BB pellets, rubber mallets, fans and dehumidifiers
:S ;(
Picture hangers, paper cutters, waffle irons, window shutters
Paint removers, window louvres, masking tape and plastic gutters
Kitchen faucets, folding tables, weather stripping, jumper cables
Hooks and tackle, grout and spackle, power foggers, spoons and ladles
Pesticides for fumigation, high-performance lubrication
Metal roofing, water proofing, multi-purpose insulation
Air compressors, brass connectors, wrecking chisels, smoke detectors
Tire gauges, hamster cages, thermostats and bug deflectors
:S ;(
Trailer hitch demagnetizers, automatic circumcisers
Tennis rackets, angle brackets, Duracells and Energizers
Soffit panels, circuit breakers, vacuum cleaners, coffee makers
Calculators, generators, matching salt and pepper shakers

after that i was just so happy it was a relativly slow song.

I was really disappointed that Weird Al did NOT perform this song live (@ NY Westbury). It's my favorite (original) on the album.

Any idea's why not?
