Well, all I did was center it, instead of stretching it, so the blue background showed up, which was a bonus.

My computer always finds a way to make the picture look weird unless I stretch it so.... guess that's what I get for having an extremely old computer.

my multiplying icons are slowly taking over the screen and covering Al

So far his hair and face are uncovered! whew!

I don't use all that many of the ones on my desktop. There are currently 16 of them. They all fit nicely in the left margin, in the field of blue. But, yeah, as far as pertaining to this topic, I just love that picture so much.

Oh, when you paste the url in, backspace so that where it says "http" in blue is gone. That's the problem.
Also, there's some sort of problem with your settings.

The first post worked for me, weirdalrocks, and I liked the picture. All of the bubbles make Al look all mystical, like a mystical giraffe or something. (I'm not, by the way, saying he looks like a giraffe. Just mystical.)
