Another point-'start up again next spring' could refer to starting up Al's next CD. I'd like to see something more specific before I get my hopes up too far.
Cheers, Diva
who would like to see a few more dates, at least

Yes, it's always good to be careful, but here it is pretty clear.
"I was on tour for 9 months this year"
is referring to the SOL tour..
"so it's time to relax a bit"
makes sense...
"We start up again next spring"
'We' as in Al and the band, and 'start up again' as in start going out on tour, and finally 'next spring' as in.... what comes after winter!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he means spring 08 starting back on tour. And, you're welcome. My jaw dropped when I found that. I just HAD to post it here.
And, I have no idea why all of you are shouting out citys and states... unless his tour manager reads the forums, there's really no point. Al doesn't have much say (if any at all) where they go.

This is true. We should all be pestering the booking agents for local performance venues!

Its to send good vibes to the dude that books the shows.

Hey, I'll shout out about my favorite venue if I want. It's wishful thinking more than anything else. Besides, Bermuda told me that Al loves playing Meadowbrook, so I'm really hoping he'll play there.
Don't be a party pooper.
