TOMMOROW!!! God it came way too fast. I gotta get up at like 4:30am to leave Ottawa on the train by 6:30am, gonna be a busy busy day tommorow. Got no Discman so I gotta use my buddys walkman and listen to Al cassettes the whole time, got pretty much everything on cassette though, should be a great time!! Going to bed very early.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Hah, I do have an mp3 but there is no Al on it and I lost the stuff that came with it so I can't put any on. But I do use it often cause its got a ton of awesome metal on it.

According to Wayne Isham, the crowd was better for the 8PM show, but the sound was better for the 3PM show. They had the dancers there for Perform This Way. Al put so much energy into these two shows. They were just simply amazing experiences. Mom got sung to during the 2nd show during Lovr. She got the "You must have fallen from heaven, that would explain how you messed up your face" line.

Got to see Wayne Isham after the show. He confirmed that the show was being taped for a 1 Hour edited down version on Comedy Central and a Live DVD Release. He was thrilled to meet me after the show, as he said that I was the Superfan of the show. He talked about how he watched me throughout the entire show singing the whole time, doing the motions and that he absolutely loved it. He said that I was definitely going to be on the DVD.

Then, some other guys from the TV crew came outside. They decided that they wanted to do an interview with me, so we went inside and up to the doors outside the balcony looking in the theater and did the interview. I was pretty nervous, but got it through it okay. I signed the waiver sheet, so that they could use it as a feature on the DVD. One of the production guys also wanted a picture with me. Not sure if they will use it or not, but it was cool anyway.

They then took me downstairs to the lounge where Al was signing. After being down there, I said my goodbyes to the TV people, and went outside. Found Steve outside and talked to him for a long while. Mom called as he was asking about her, and he talked to her on the phone.

Fun, fun, amazing night.

Glad the dancers were there, they are awesome. Sounds like it gonna be great. But what the people really want to know is did you get me my t-shirt?

Thanks for the write up! I was a little unclear - is the show going to be cut down to one hour just for the Comedy Central special, or for the DVD also?

Yeah, I couldn't see a big gun like Isham coming aboard if this was just a tv special, had to be a dvd involved.

Awesome stuff :Y

How can they cut such an amazing show down to only an hour!? How will they decide what to cut out of such an amazing show!?

I guess maybe if all the video clips are cut out and maybe the melody it get down.

Did he happen to tell you when it would air on comedy central?

No, he didn't mention when it would air.

Wayen said that it was going to be edited down to 1 hour for Comedy Central. He said that on the DVD it would be around an hour and a half. Which I'm guessing is probably the full show without the videos.

Haha, yeah Dave, I did get you your t-shirt. I bought the bag, as well, just in case they didn't have it in the fall. There was no extra charge for it being in Canada this time and they did accept US funds.

I knew Toronto would deliver. It will be interesting to see how they put this all together. Maybe use the sound and stage shots from the 3:00 show, but the crowd shots and noise from the 8:00 show.

I have a feeling we won't see this air till after the fall tour. The one good thing about Comedy Central is once a special airs, the DVD is available that same week so I don't think we'll be waiting too long for this.
