World of Weird Al Yankovic

I have just listened to this song (like a dozen times in a row), and it is great!
With the whole TMZ thing, it's kind of ironic that Al has a song (assumingly) about them on the album. While they don't have the best reputation for truth, I would like to believe that Gaga didn't deny it. But it's gotta suck for Al if she does change her mind(?) or make her own choice to approve it, cause then Al just released the lead parody after thinking it wasn't going to be on the album. Oops.

Man, this is something else! No matter what, Al probably will have to find new lead parody material whether Gaga says yes in the end or not. That sucks, for him AND us. The song-I like it, but I kind of agree with the Rolling Stone guy-it might not be his A game. But then again I might change my mind after hearing it more.

I dunno if this hasn't already been posted, but this is apparently an interview with Al. According to it, Al reached out in many ways to find some way to release it and get permission, and the representative Al talked to insisted that Lady Gaga was calling the shots.

It's not really true that TMZ has a reputation of bad journalism. They just have a reputation for reporting on trashy tabloid-ish things. But they actually have a very fine reputation, accuracy-wise.

Every time Al tries to have an artist in the polka and the subject of the lead parody, something goes wrong
