I actually had this dream a while ago, but I just now made a strange revelation about it.
I had this dream I was watching some TV show where Al was a guest and performed some old songs... one was a straight cover of "State of Shock." The thing was, I don't ever remember hearing the original song until today. I listened to it today and realized I apparently knew the song this whole time, otherwise I couldn't have had a dream about it.
I can't remember ever hearing it before for the life of me, much less Al singing it outside of polka.

haha, I don't recall seeing that before, but thanks anyway!
Love that. Knowing myself, I'd probably put it on my iPod or something.

Here's the little dream I had last night: it was some "Behind The Music"-type show set in the early 80's that talked about how one of a kind Weird Al is because he's the only musician that could imitate Weezer's sound. He was using an instrument that looked like a kazoo but made a sound more like a car horn.
Warsaw was raw.

My first real life meeting was something like that. The words were different, but the effect was the same.grissomisms @ August 07, 2009 03:47 pm wrote: "HII'MEMMAI'MAHUGEFANOFYOURSI'VEGOTALMOSTALLYOURALBUMSISTALKYOUONTWITTERAND

He looked at me like he was trying to decide if I was speaking English. I realized that I was babbling, so I took a deep breath, and apologized and told him I was very nervous.
He put his hand on my arm and said, "Don't be, it's just me." After that, I was able to relax and we had a very nice chat.

Since my dreams can last up to 30 minutes, I often don't remember them very well. But sometimes snippets can come back to me and one of them was a guest appearance by Weird Al.
How old was that last signature? I mean, really?

I had this dream a lllllllllloooooooooooongggggg time ago, but it just spotaniously occured to me:
Me and my best friend(who is also an Al fan(aka elkauppila) decided to start a band where she played guitar and I played keyboard, and we would re-do weird al songs. we would sing verses back and forth. For example.....I'm drawing a blank when it comes to Al songs(shun me) ok, if we would sing Virus Alert, I would start with "Hey everyone, listen up, your attention if you please, ect, then she would sing
Soon, very soon, it will make all the paint peel off your walls ect. (then back and forth)We would perform these for our school and they loved it! We did this for (alsmost) every Al song(We didn't do Headline news for obvious reasons.
(and my keyboard could play all the fun sounds(including all the sounds from angry white boy polka.
and once, the teachers had us do a spontanious concert for our school with all of our cool songs and surpise! The almighty Al was there to see us. (and we got to meet him(eek!)
too bad it was only a dream, but it was really cool

Last night I had a dream that I was watching some talkshow, and Al was singing on it, but I don't remember what song. It was just a black area where he and the band were. Then, all the sudden, I was there with them. Steve was playing keyboards and some girl was singing. Then I saw Al, but I didn't recognize him for some reason!
