Yes, I did receive it. Got it last week? I think... Been so busy haven't had time to breathe. LOL

Kristi, What hotel you stayin at? I don't remember where we're booked at. *Shrugs*

It's an extended stay hotel and I think it's a little further south of the park...I don't remember what city/exit/whatever. When are you arriving in the area? I think we are going to try to get in early on Friday, our hotel has an outdoor pool-so that will be cool. Maybe try to do something around Cincy. I dunno.

Are we gonna do a big Al Gal meet up at some point? Like lunch or something?

Yeah, ours is south of Kings Island too. I remember that much of it. We won't be in till LATE friday, as I'm not leaving to head there until after I get out of work, and then its a 5 hr drive from here. So prolly won't be arriving till after midnight . Our hotel has a pool too, but I don't know that we'll get a chance to use it.. thats ok, I plan on using the waterpark a lot. LOL

As for lunch. I'm not sure, as I'll have my Significant Other with, and I don't know that he'd be all like. Hi , I'm an al-gal. hahaha

We will be at this Show and i have not got a motel yet so if anyone has any info on a good motel that does not cost a million dollars let me know. does anyone know if he does a greeting after the show at the tour bus,we went to the pigeon forge show last night and security was all crazy and would not let us even close to the bus. so i dont recommend anyone going to AB FOR ANY SHOWS. I was in sec D row E seat 1 so the stage was blocked by all the ppl taking picks and i was so mad i paid $50 to see the back of ppls heads and missed half the show. i did not like this place.

I would say prolly no meet and greet after for this show...but you might catch Al or some of the bandmembers around the park during the day.

I got my hotel thru Priceline...so try that...they give you area hotels if you want to book directly with the hotel.

Kaffy-that would be funny if we were at the same hotel! And I'll have my SO with me as well!

I don't think so....we had season passes for several years and I'm thinking they were funny about that. ...especially swimsuits with rivets or eyes! I remember standing in line for something and seeing a bunch of things like shoestring eyes or eyelets and little metal nipples or rivets, in the mulch. If you're wondering why they don't want rivets or eyes, metal in particular on suits, consider this: When traveling down a fiberglass slide, slickness is key - the metal parts scrape and cause the fibers to be cut and lifted. Do you want to slide down a slide with microscopic shards of glass protruding? My son did, and when we wrapped a towel around his back, he was screaming. When we looked at his back in the sun, we could see all the splinters gleaming. He suffered for 40 minutes in the car and when we got home, we literally "waxed" his back with packing tape to pull the glass fibers out. it worked and we now understand why they don't let non-swim gear or decorated swim wear in the water slides!

Sorry for the long story, but to my knowledge, I think shorts would be frowned upon....especially JEAN shorts!

Anyone with recent knowledge?

Fred - do you travel to all these shows alone? I'm looking for a pal for the day, or part of the day. Sounds like I need a sitter! I can't be trusted alone! LOL

well im not sure how im getting into the pk, if tix include the park, then im screwed until an hr b4 showtime, but yes i go to them alone this way i can come and go as i please

I don't know who might have time for an Al Gal meeting, but I live near the park and I'm gearing up for visitors. Okay, not right near the park, but near hotel central, near the park. I will not be at the park during the day.

However, you must love dogs.
