There are plenty of inexpensive flights out there, and October is a good time for less expensive flights. :)

If you use a site like Travelosity to find the flight, you don't have to book through them if you don't want to. I like to use those sites as more of a "search engine" than anything else. I like to book directly through the airline- the less middle people I have to deal with if there's a problem, the better.

so would you all be excited to see me? LOL
The cheapest that i'm finding so far is through Southwest (which i'm not really crazy about for my own personal reasons, but if it gets me there cheaply......)

So I'd have a chauffeur and a place to crash?? :D

Southwest is really good with prices, I got a really cheap price on my trip to Las Vegas. The flight isn't bad, either. You get a free drink. :D

That little incident happened before your time here at WOWAY, Meli--January, 2003, if I'm not mistaken. There are some pretty funny posts about it by Dave and me in the first 2 pages of the Ever embarrassed yourself in front of Al? topic. :S

Oh, sorry for my little outburst then. :S Sorry you guys had to deal with that, the lack of lights always makes me laugh, too. Hollywood is the entertainment capital of the world and that sign is famous, you would think they could help a night tourist out and put lights on...

  Cinnamon are you coming?
Right now it's a definite maybe - hehe

I do have a concert ticket, but the 20th is also one of my greats' birthdays and they don't know what they're doing to celebrate the day yet. (*whispers* although it just so happens that my present is being given early and includes a ditch day from school and an Al concert |)) But because they don't know what they're doing on the actual day yet, I can't say for sure what I'll be doing that day either :F

Exactly. (I haven't booked flights through them either and do feel bad about that, because I really do appreciate the service/information they provide)

Yea! I look forward to meeting Kaffy and seeing, possibly, maybe seeing Cinnamon...maybe ;)

Hey, how soon before a concert do those tickets from Al's website usually get to us?
I'm anxiously awaiting.
