I got 442 pics, 10 of which had bad lighting, so I'm not uploading those. Not all of the pics are done uploading yet, but more than half are here right now. I also have high-quality (1600x1200 pixels) versions of them all... so if you want one of them that size, then just PM me or something.

A bunch are out of focus, but meh.

Actually, there was a guy walking around asking people about drinks, he would give you free water. He might've been gone by the time you got there, though. My friend and I left the bbq at like... 5:30 and headed over to the auditorium.

Kayy911, as far as which CBNC pic, it's the really nice one of Al and Steve. It's just so clear, and you can tell the sun is shining on Al's hair. I love it!

Actually, there was a guy walking around asking people about drinks, he would give you free water. He might've been gone by the time you got there, though. My friend and I left the bbq at like... 5:30 and headed over to the auditorium. 

Yeah, I did miss that. I only had $3 with me, so I had to decide between buying Grant's CD or getting something to drink. Since Grant's CD was more than $3, that narrowed down my choices a bit.

We were over at the buffet when I heard the loudspeaker and just thought they were going to make some random announcements when they announced "Throwing Toasters", and I squeaked and told Michael "I gotta go!" I stuffed as much food into my mouth as possible and ran to the venue...quite an attractive sight, I'm sure

Oh, and Grant was so funny! At one point, he motioned to someone off stage to bring a chair out for him just so he could kick it over.

Ohhhh, I thought the person brought the chair over to put on Grant's guitar cord, 'cause it had just come loose.

Thanks for all the wonderful LONG, detailed reviews!! I enjoyed reading every word. Glad to hear the curse is gone... except for the one fly. At least it wasn't 1000 mayflies! (Ah, my Ask Al question).

No, that definitely wasn't Al! If he felt that way, then he wouldn't sign autographs outside after any of the shows. Just another case of a venue/security placing the blame on the performer to keep themselves from looking like the bad guys.

Those are some awesome reviews and pictures, you guys. 442 pictures! I feel like a novice only taking 75. Of course, I had film, not digital. But I'm taking my digital camera with me to Kettering, even though I can't use it on my new computer and will have to borrow someone elses. anyone know of a model of digital camera that will work with windows vista?

Too bad the security guards were a pain, but at least the worst thing to happen was Al swallowing a bug -Gross- rather than the stage falling down or Al falling off the stage.

Definitely the latest line in security-guard mendacity. Al DOESN'T have a contractual obligation to meet with people with backstage passes. We've READ his contract after all, it's there at Paradise Artists' site for all to peruse. Al's sense of obligation toward his fans isn't contractual, by what he's said it's more a matter of gratitude, and he's not more grateful to people with passes (who very often are not the biggest fans anyway). I remember getting a bit of insight into the security mindset waiting for Al after Baltimore. I asked one of the guys, "Do many artists who play here do this?" meaning the meet & greet, and he said, "No, and I hope they don't." They just want to go home and not have the extra hassle of shepherding fans who are meeting their star.

Al was very funny when he swallowed whatever bug went down his throat.  He was leaning close to someone near the stage, ranting during Albuquerque and suddenly started
coughing and gagging.  Then he asked them conversationally something to the effect "Have you sampled the bugs tonight?  They're really rather tasty".

That's just tragic. You try and try to be a faithful vegan, but sometimes life just has other plans for you.
