Yeah, even in the interview Al did with Dr. Demento, he said using Pro-tools for recording Poodle Hat was helpful, especially with Hardware Store. But he did not say whether or not he was able to do that fast part all in one take, or if he editted it or what. *Like, maybe he did do it in one take, but tweaked it later* Who knows! Maybe the next group of Ask Al questions will include one about Hardware Store. Even so, I'm still amazed by that part of the song!

I can almost go all the way through up to speed. Now I'm working on memorizing the "Hardware Freestyle"

I've been working on it using the 0.5 speed setting on WMP and can now say it almost perfectly at 0.9 speed, nearly full speed. But I slip up a little at "kitchen faucets", presumably because it's not normal Australian vocabulary.

Thats a good excuse! I can't do the whole bridge coz it's in an American accent!
