I am bummed about that too, It's by far my favorite original on the album, and I was looking forward to seeing it live, but with you guys saying his voice is getting bad... (I haven't seen him yet... 9 days!) I bet that would have been hard on it, since he screams the whole song.

It's not getting bad, only a tiny bit worse. Based on the videos I've seen, he seems to be surprisingly comfortable with screaming and he sounds good while doing it (e.g. in this video he sings MOE and his screaming parts sound better than the parts where he sings in normal voice) . He only has some trouble singing high notes.

He'll perfect anything, given enough rehearsal and what not. Just don't think MOE was in the cards this year.

whatever happened to Alinite27? has anyone seen him at the shows? usually he posts mediocre reviews of every show he's been to where he includes what the security guards were up to 6 hours before the show.

It's not so much his voice losing a step, it's just we tend to over analyze things on this forum, so if something's off, we notice it more than a set of casual ears would.

For the record, he is getting better on some of the songs he had trouble with earlier as he gets more used to them. I haven't seen the Foil video that caused some controversy on the forum a few weeks back, but by the time I saw him a couple weeks ago, Foil sounded great

He still goes to shows, but due to some issues with other members he has decided to not post his reviews

The last thing he posted here was that he would be posting concert reviews on his own personal blog...so, you can still read his reviews somewhere else if you're so inclined
