UHF Blu Ray! (Was 25th anniversary of UHF)

I haven't noticed that, but I've been meaning to mention how awesome that brief clip of UHF looks on the Alpocalypse tour Blu Ray. Based on that, I'm so excited for the full movie.

I watched this with my daughter last night, it was her first time seeing it and I was quite happy that she found it quite funny. She thought all the Stanley fighting the thugs scenes were hilarious. It got me thinking about the Blue Ray release. Havent really kept up on this topic but with this release, have we heard if there will be any new special features. I'd buy it if there was anything new added. If its just a crisper picture or whatever blue ray has I may have to pass....

I'm not sure about the bonus features on the blu-ray but this SHOULD be arriving pretty soon for people that pre-ordered, right? I kind of forgot about this and I pre-ordered so I guess I should start getting excited about the mail-checking process...

I am really excited about this. The (presumably) new special features will be great of course, but also, unless you saw UHF in theaters, this will be the first time any of us have ever seen the movie in HD!

I'm happy to see that the panel from Comic-Con made it as a special feature. Is that the only special feature that wasn't on the DVD?

I assume it will be but is the commentary the same from the DVD or maybe a new one recorded? I have watched so many times I pretty much have both the movie and commentary memorized

I'll admit, I will be EXTREMELY disappointed if the deleted scenes are identical to the DVD.

There is *so much* cut from that movie, there's no reason for that - especially Al's outdated intros.
