Hey, did you hear about the new restaurant on the moon? Great food, no atmosphere.

Badum-CHING! Ladies and gentleman, Mr. Dave Rossi--he also does weddings and bar mitzvahs.

And if he polishes his material and works on his timing, he can get a really big-time gig, the one where all his best punch lines are greeted with chants of "we want Al! We want Al!" 8)

This one was an especially great show. Al and the guys seemed especially pumped, the crowd seemed to get more and more into it as the show went on, and I think for the first time that I can remember some people came down and gathered at the stage (without any security clearing them from the aisles, which I thought would happen at this venue) and everyone stood through the encore. New intro gag for OMM--he said they were going to do something a little different and stray from the set list, and take a request from the crowd. So he lets everyone yell a million different songs and then says "One More Minute? Okay!" or something like that. :)

Glad you had a great time at the show, Adrian! What a great birthday present! Did people sing Happy Birthday to you, like Dave said they would? The new OMM intro gag sounds funny! I can't wait to read more reviews! Thanks for posting yours.

No, but Jon did ask my girlfriend to give me a birthday kiss on his behalf. :lookround:

No prob! One more thing I forgot to mention--PATLC was dedicated to Erik Estrada, "Ponch" from the TV show CHiPS... since he couldn't be there he phoned Al to make sure that somewhere during the course of the show he did a song about the debilitating effects of leprosy. :) He did a similar intro at Poughkeepsie, but it was dedicated to Jimmy Fallon, who was actually in the building since he was the opening act.

Yes, 31 days 'til I see Al. I still like reading the reviews and seeing pics, because then I know how cool "my" show will be! I can't wait!

Seats? Uhhhh...Somewhere in the 11th row. The group around me were boring, but I was with my friend who has the same sense of humor as me. We love the, "Where's my liquid paper?!" line in Dog Eat Dog, and we love the, "Got a Lousy Haircut" song. It was a good concert though because I got autographs from Steve and Bermuda!!!!

And we were ever so thankful Erik Estrada wasn't the opening act!

Seriously, another great show! Just about every seat in the place was sold, not bad, the place is huge! I was kind of further back than i thought but still everyone around me was having a great time. Al had some extra energy or something, he was really into it. Steve too. Well, New Jersey loves Al, what can I say!

My friends and I had a great time. The seats were much better than I had expected. First thing I did when I got in was buy me some shirts. I bought two, the band photo and the couch potato one. I would have gotten the cover art shirt, but at the time they were out of my size. Al seemed to have a ton of energy for the show. I didn't get to meet Al... but I did'nt let it ruin my night because Al came within 3 feet of me when he walked up the isle for OMM. This lady directly across from us got the boxers...they were gold! :P

Erik Estrada might move his lips less than the guy who WAS the opening act when trying to do ventriloquism...

Steve was definitely really into it (we were practically in front of him, which was cool) and he seemed genuinely amazed when the people gathered at the stage... since the aisle led right up to his stage position, it was like they were all gathered at his feet. :) Al was definitely extra pumped, using all of the pretty big PNC stage, and Jersey loved him for it... loved seeing that! :)
