Fred Willard was on "The Weird Al Show", or doesn't that count? I will look on Getty Images for pics from this event.

Well, of course it counts! Fred Willard now has a "Weird Al" Yankovic number of ONE. So, are Fred Willard and Florence Henderson the only ones that Al had worked with directly before?

So they presented an award together? Cool!

I did check out getty images. Nice pics, but a turtleneck? Just looking at one makes me feel like I'm choking. Never could wear one. Al wears it well, though. I always opted for the cowl or a mock turtleneck, but that's a ladies shirt.

I've been thinking about this event... there were some very big names there, but it occurred to me that right now, in terms of ability to get people to leave their houses and buy tickets, Al may have been the biggest draw there. Of course, the fame of the others isn't predicated on their live appearances, but still... there's a real difference between "I loved his concert last summer" and "I loved that show in the '70's."
