Ah, I prefer where I am, as a good location to be in to see Al. While you always have to drive at least 3 hours, since the state doesn't really follow him, WV is centered between the South, NorthEast, MidWest, etc. Makes it about the same length of drive back from whichever location that you end up in.

California does have some different stuff, like this gallery thing. Be interesting to see what it is.

I listen to a ton of California based bands, not just Al, although he is among my most favorite of course. Thrash metal basically originated from California, and all those bands still reside there. There are a ton of wicked shows there for all types of music, I think I'd have a ball! It would have been sweet to be born there is my point, although I love Canada, you guys got governor Arnold, aww I'd definitely prefer to be there.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Arnold is not the governor anymore, but Jerry Brown is still pretty cool.

I don't see anywhere on the site how long the exhibit will be open for. I don't get back to LA for another week and a half, and would love to see it. Is it just a one night thing, or are they planning to keep it up for longer?

It says right on the main image "On display through March 31, 2012" so you should be good.
