The President's schedule is available on the official White House website:

However it doesn't seem to go back further than a few months. Let me see if I can find documentation that he was there at the show.

Ha. That's cool. Never knew it was just out there like that.
Personally, I'm surprised that besides the official business pertakings that happen, that they would document personal outings. In such a dangerous world, I would think that it would make it very easy for certain crazed people to know how to access the president. That's kind of frightening of our country's safety, but I guess he probably has enough service people with him to keep safe.

Well, a couple of things:
1) Most of the time, plans like this are not made public
before POTUS attends the event. Only private events, fundraisers, and staff meetings are generally made public in advance. For events like the Nationals game and the GWU basketball game he went to last year, usually they are not made known until the last possible minute.
2) The Secret Service is extremely capable of preventing attacks. They scout out every little place the president goes long before he goes there, long before anyone finds out he may be going there. I know someone who works for the Secret Service and, while he is not on the President's detail, I do feel confident that he is safe.

Hmm, cool. I'm sure they probably have some secret place for them to watch the show at the theater. Either way, it's cool that he went, but I didn't see him.

Yeah, as I said it's now listed there. It wasn't previously. It was just on TicketMaster.

Nothing will stop me from seeing this show, even though it's going to end up being a total media circus since it's pretty likely the Obamas will be there.
