Anyone wanting to catch this, it looks like Al isn't actually on the real today show. He's on the fake hour of the show at 11A.M. The "extra" hour. What a shame. Ah well, maybe a few people watch that hour. Found this on the description for the shows on my Comcast Guide.

We'll be better off just catching the clip on the NBC website when they post it.

Not to doubt you Jeremy, but how in the heck could Comcast know what NBC does?

The interview was 3-4 minutes, started around 10:48. Pretty standard stuff from what we've read and seen in the press releases. He talked a bit about his career path, and Nina's reactions to his songs and videos. He didn't mention the book signings, but did mention the upcoming tour in Australia and North America this summer, and crossed his fingers a new album would be out soon in the near future. Also touched on having to remove Gilligan's Island references on the U.K. tour. It was done in front of a window, but there was only one person there. Probably the weather kept most away, it did us.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Probably not something I'll save though because it had big ass winter storm warnings stamped over most of the screen.

I wasn't able to catch the TV show but I did get to watch it online. My thoughts and feelings are that it was a little too short. I actually love the fact Al wore something normal and not a Hawaiian shirt. Its great to see him ditch that persona. I am not sure how relevant it was to mention "Gilligan's Island" and how they segwayed that into his first European tour. It was kind of a throw back for me to see Al and Kathy Lee in the same room the last time this happend was back in 1997 when he was on "Live with Regis and Kathy Lee promoting "The Weird Al Show" which was geared toward kids. Interesting. Ohhhhh.... I still get a little pissed just thinking about that interview and what Regis said "ever kid goes through the Weird Al phase." Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
