The thing just sits there like the thing that shows friends online. I just let it sit there and ignore if I want(and I am old and everything!
) ) . Numbers pop up but I ignore if I want. Usually I just read when others are chatting anyway. It's a pretty cool feature as over 140 character chats can be fun

I haven't seen anyone online when I've been on, so it hasn't affected me one way or another

See! Because we're constantly distracted we're able to block out annoying things such as the WOWAY chat box. Normally would be annoying, but with all the other tasks going on we're able to block it out

I think the WOWAY chat is cool. I haven't reached a time yet where I haven't felt like chatting or just seeing what people are talking about, so I guess I can't really relate to the feelings of the people who get annoyed by it popping up when they don't want to be part of the conversation. It's a cool way to get to know everyone on here.

If you haven't been added yet, just give it time. Right now Adrian is the only one who can approve requests. I wasn't able to find an auto-add. And I was tired of a million emails for requests.

I didn't like being drafted into a chat without my approval and not being able to turn it off. So I unsubscribed and won't be re-subscribing.

I'd only complain about the the constant 'I don't like the chat' posts. WE GET IT!!
I didn't even know I was in it until I was on one day and the chat window was there w an active conversation in it. I don't know most people's real names so I didn't know who was currently chatting. I think I made a standard crazy uwvark27 post and then just closed it out. I'm sure I'll check into it again sometime.
