Sorry I didn't get to see you, either, Jeremy. I didn't have a pass, so I didn't get backstage. I made chocolates instead of cookies. My oven doesn't work, plus, it's too hot to bake. I gave the chocolates to Fred after the show. She and Kathy went backstage together. Kathy ended up giving the chocolates to Al. She told him they were from me. When she said my name, he said "Patti!". I can almost hear him, just from what Kathy told me. So cute! Fred said Al said "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" and "Give Patti my best". Aww! *hugs Al* I went with Kari, who used to be celebros27 here. Not sure if her name is the same anymore. She brought her niece, Lauren. She is 11 and this was her first concert. We had a riot. I brought glow bracelets. They were fun. I really didn't notice the technical problems so much. I thought the music, especially Dare To Be Stupid, sounded awesome. *I just really love that song live* I might have had a more awesome time if I didn't have a headache the whole concert. It kind of went in stages from mild to really horrid, but there were so many times that I laughed, I was really glad I went. Al running away from that dude that came down the aisle up near where I was sitting during WBUL cracked me up. He looked frightened. I also really loved You Make Me, Jeremy. I took pics. They're not great, and not numerous, because my camera likes to drain the batteries. I had to keep taking them out every few pics, then put them back in. I'll put the pics in a photobucket album when I can find time. Thanks a billion to Al, Jon, Jim, Steve and Rubén for putting on a great show. Thanks also to Kari and Lauren for making it a fun experience. Here are two pics of just some of the chocolates I made for Al:

Hi all! I haven't posted on here for a very long time. I've been busy with a newly adopted 2 year old daughter. I just had to post a quick message to say we loved the show last night (and Toledo on Wednesday). We were in the 3rd row - I bought them presale. Al sang "Your face is really symmetrical and your nostrils are so nice" to me! AND I caught the red cup. (BTW - wouldn't it be cool if he and the band autographed it before they threw it out to the crowd) The cup is proudly displayed in my china cabinet! It was a good night. Great to see you Patti! :D

Aw Patti, so sorry that you didn't make it backstage...I just fully expected to see you there. Those chocolates are so cute and I'm sure delicious...I'm sure they'll love them on the road...

Nice to see you, too, Jody. Congrats on the nice seats and getting serenaded by Al. Oooh, you got the SLN cup?? Awesome!!

Yeah, Jeremy, it was kind of a bummer not getting backstage, but my chocolates still got back to Al. I could've used an Al hug, though with the damn headache I still had even after the show. It would've really eased the pain. Maybe next time. Thanks for the compliment on my chocolates. All the colored chocolate was flavored.
Orange - orange *what else?* :P
Yellow- banana creme
Green- creme de menthe
Pink - strawberry

The Hawaiian shirts were the most labor intensive. I hand-painted the flowers onto them after taking them out of the mold. It's so nice to make these chocolates for Al, because I know he appreciates what I do.

I was sitting right next to you, it's so cool that you caught the cup. :) We definitely had awesome seats! This was my 3rd Al show and it was such a blast. I had a headache by the time I left, but it was from smiling and laughing so much. Wanna B Ur Lovr was a riot. My husband took a ton of awesome photos and I don't know when he'll have time to get to all of them, but I'll share a few for now:

Thanks for posting, Janet. Nice photos!! I really like the WBUL pic. He looked really great for that, didn't he? Too bad one of those pics is a red x. Maybe you can fix it? Sorry you had a headache after the show. I had one before, during and after...a 10 hour headache. I still had fun, though. I'm gonna go through my pics and post them real soon. They won't be quite as nice, but they're not horrid.

Having a headache the whole show would be frustrating, so I'm glad you still had fun! Thanks for the heads up about the photo not showing. I updated it so the last one shows now - it definitely makes me smile. :) I'm hoping my husband will get some free time soon so he can share the rest of his pics. He got some great ones and it's fun to kind of relive the show when you see all the different costumes and expressions.

Ah, yes, that last one is the one you posted on twitter, right? I LOVE it!! Kathy got a great shot of Al and that stormtrooper. OMA, that was soooo funny! Btw, for $20, Row U was not so bad. It wasn't front row like last time I was there, but they were still good seats. Yes, it was frustrating having a headache for an entire concert. Has never happened to me before. Al and the guys are still really great and awesome and sometimes because of that, the pain ebbed a bit. Anyway, looking forward to more of your pics.

I love the healing power that Al and the band have. For the Verona concert, up until the show, I had severe allergies and a headache the day before and all that day. As soon as I made to the show at Turning Stone, I was fine.

Well, here are my concert pics, such as they are. I had to deal with 1. a headache 2. deleting photos at least 4 or 5 times to make room for these and 3. Having to take the battteries out of the camera every so often. There aren't that many, and they're not as nice as others, but, I'm sharing them, anyway.
