Of course, I also didn't see the pre-sale until a day after it started....

Good luck dodging the camera patrol!

I got a stern finger pointed at me during the August 07 show.

What's funny is that from the Warner's FAQ

"Can I bring my camera?
Most performers and shows do not allow any duplication of their performances; therefore cameras (including picture-taking cell phones) and visual and audio recorders are prohibited. For specific information about the show that you will be attending, call the theatre at 202-783-4000 on the day of the show or check the event listing on this web site. Reproduction of the artist’s work in any way without permission is illegal."

We know Al's ok with cameras.

From Ask Al

"Renee Weber of Lancaster, Calif. asks: Hi Al! I owe you an apology! How much of an annoyance is it to have audience members use flash photography during your concerts? I'd like to apologize for my flash going off a couple times while taking pictures of you at the Oxnard, CA concert. So sorry!

I can’t speak for the rest of the band, but flash photography doesn’t particularly bother me on stage. However, most theatres seem to have a strict policy against it."

I asked the day of the show and they said no cameras. Guess they didn't ask Al :P

If you really want to be sneaky tho, and you don't mind low quality pictures, a lack of flash, but pretty much a guarantee you don't get caught, you could get these:

Course then you run the problem of looking kinda like Bono.

Anyways...

I won't be going to the Warner this time tho. Since the Richmond, VA show just got announced I'll be going there. Hope that I get to meet Al again :) Just need to figure out what I would like him to sign to go with my Mr. Potato Head he signed last time.

HAVE FUN AT THE SHOW :)

Well, hopefuly, when you've rested, you'll tell us more, Allison.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

OK, details - Al wishes he was cross-eyed so he could see me twice, AND he wants to be my anaconda and my heat-seeking missile, too.

WDTAHTM instead of Bob.

No confetti during Albuquerque because they warned ME not to stand in front of the cannons but failed to mention it to the guy at the other end of the stage... they did shoot them off as the crowd was leaving, though.

The theatre was lovely (and freezing!), security allowed cameras without flashes, the crowd was great... did I leave anything out? The people behind me were first timers who drove five hours to get to the show and told me afterward it was well worth the drive. There were some really fun women across the aisle who were really into the show, they were almost as entertaining as Al himself.

That's kinda pointless....

It sounds like it was a great show!

Oh one more thing - this is for Mike, lol - I think the cheerleaders were the same ones we saw in Baltimore, so you didn't miss anything.
