2008 SOL Summer Tour Chit Chat

Well, there will be an '08 tour, so you have no choice. Besides, for all you know, Al's been writing stuff for the new album since the first leg ended. We don't get a new album until 2009, anyway.

I agree with BS. While, I'll enjoy another concert or two this summer, I'm more eager for the next album. Yes, I'm hoping it'll be 2009, but it's not a sure thing. And if he DIDN'T tour in '08, there'd be a better chance of the next album coming in '09. I'm thinking now that the next album will more likely be in late '09 or possibly '10. If it came in the first half of '09, then he'd tour again, and I don't think Al wants to spend three consecutive summers touring, especially with his daughter at an age where he can start building real childhood memories. Personally, if I were Al, I'd hold off on touring until Nina is older. Bet you're all glad I'm not Al!

At this point, isn't it basically confirmed by Jim West that it's gonna happen?

Is there a reference for this? Sorry for being slow on the uptake.

Well, there is gonna be a second leg, and I'm glad. Al still could be writing for the new album during his time off, and may again once the second leg is over. The next cd isn't supposed to come out until 2009.

The tour is a lie.

Anyway... Wow, I'm surprised that it's been.. SOL was in 2006? It's 2008 now?!? It'd be nice for an album in '09... but somehow I doubt it. It's VERY possible, though.

I'd love for a second leg. This time I could actually plan on seeing a concert with friends.
