Money is SUPER TIGHT for me right now but I'd really like to go...looking into a way of paying for this...maybe selling a kidney? LOL
alas, my husband may not be able to go with me, if I go alone could I possibly meet up w/ some of you? esp after if there is a meet and greet? I'd soooooo love to meet Al!

I know he doesn't come out to meet people all the time but I'd love one more chance to try & meet Al! (I saw Al concerts in Gilford NH and Beverly Mass already!)
I know I'm fairly new on this forum but perhaps I can arrange to meet up w/ some of you after the concert?
thanks, Laurie

Isn't Bermuda Jewish or something? It's not on Rosh Hashana, but it's between then and Yom Kippur which means that I can't go.
No, Bermuda is not Jewish. In his case, Schwartz is a German name.

I went last night and it was great!!! Also, I live in New Bedford, which made it even better!
My friends and I couldn't stop laughing. We are all over 30 and we had such a good time. Weird Al is such a great performer and he did not disappoint.
I can check off that I've seen Weird Al in concert in my lifetime.

Best. Show. Ever! 2nd row didn't disappoint. I caught the cup, got spit on and got about $50,000 in Yankobucks.
Best song of the night: Alberquerque! Everybody stood right in front of the stage, (next to the road case that Al uses to get on and of the stage), and he sang to all of us.
It was WDTAHTM, not Bob.

It was an incredible show! We were in the 2nd row, too... but we only got a thousand or so in yankobucks. This was our second show for this tour (and ever). We had taken the kids to the Westbury , NY, concert (making a special trip down there just for it). It was well worth going again - at least we got to hear both
Bob and
WDTAHTM.
One thing that was new to us was Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers who came out during
TSB. They didn't have them at Westbury. Was this unique to this show, or was it not possible with the round stage in Westbury?

They've had them at several shows. It may have been because of the round stage that Westbury didn't have them. Beverly didn't have them either and that was a round stage.
Sounds like an awesome show. I wish I could have gone!

I think July 18 at the OC Fair was the first time Al used the Stormtroopers. They were a complete surprise to me and I've been reading all the reviews since Auckland.
