I think Al will return to doing two live-action videos per album. We may still see an animated one sneak in there now and then, but I really think the animated videos are pretty much a one album deal.

I'm sure there will be a mixture of live-action and animations in the future, but I would like to see more of Al in music videos.

I think that he will continue to do Live-Action videos because that's what he's know for. He'll probably do two per ALbum like before, but we might still see some animated videos.

I think th animated videos are a one time thing. Al said it himself, DualDiscs are slowly dying. He may support them, thanks to youtube, but I doubt we'll get many more official ones.

Yeah, I think it was in an interview.
Can't remember which one though.

He did say that DualDiscs are a dying novelty, but that doesn't mean the end of the official animated videos. They could just as easily be put on a DVD that comes along with the album. And as technology improves, they may even be able to put them right on the CD with the songs. Who knows?
Of course, it's entirely possible that CDs in general will become obsolete soon enough anyway.

There is no video for "Canadian Idiot". Jon said he'd like to see a video for it.

There was also supposed to be a fan-made video for "Canadian Idiot," but (as far as I know) it was cancelled because not enough people gave submissions. See here.
