Wow, what a fun time it sounded like, from the signatures to a mini "Bob" discussion. And way to go on the petition, Emily and Narelle!! :D

You should've asked if they wanted to go to George Webb's or something.

Wow, that's awesome!! Congrats on your first Al meeting!
Sounds like the show was tons of fun, and it's great you guys were recognized as petitioners! You'll have to post a picture of the page Al signed. I almost got one like that at the signing in Hollywood (haha Melissa) but the guards were angry carnivores so i decided not to.
I liked the "really?" (the Canberra thing)... with that mind of his I'm surprised he doesn't have the tour memorized.
I also thought the Dave reference was hilarious!! Oh geez.

Oh yeah. It was only a fleeting thought I had a few days ago, I wasn't sitting at the taping thinking "I hope he's a nice as everyone says"

His smile is sooo infectious, and his laugh too. And it's a good thing that we didn't meet Al before the taping, because for about the first 10 minutes after he walked on set I was shaking like crazy. I managed to calm myself in the hour + that we were watching the show, so I wasn't in too much of an AIH when we met him.

What a great report. And that mention of Dave was hilarious.... Al not only knows his fans, he knows their little prejudices. :P (just kiddin' Dave, you know I love you)

It is released as a torrent each week, but it's about 200 meg, and downloading a torrent isn't as easy as just downloading a normal file. I'll see if I can make a smaller file, perhaps 80 meg, but it'll be difficult to make it any smaller than that.

Well, I'm pretty unsavvy as far as torrents go *that is, I know nothing about them*, but thank you for offering to make the file a little easier to download.

A 200 meg torrent isn't really that difficult to download as far as torrents go. Many TV shows are over 300 MB. As long as there are enough seeders, 200 MB isn't going to be much harder to download than an 80 MB file.

Great. Just great. Now you've got me looking forward to the show even more than I was before.

The taping sounds like pure, unrestrained awesome and I'm glad y'all had such a good time!

It was pretty unrestrained. There were times when the producer had to pull everyone back on track because they went off on the occasional tangent. I'd hate to be the person who has to cut the taping down to the 27 minute, coherent show. There was more than an hour of footage, and Ari-Up [of The Slits] is going to have made the job of editing it very difficult I'm sure. But I can't wait to see how it turns out, as I rarely looked at the monitors showing what was being recorded.
