Where are you coming from, Jake. I'm heading down from Ogden. My friend going with me is coming from Sandy.

I'm coming up from Payson. I love Ogden, btw. Neat historic city. I used to drive up there each weekend to visit my girlfriend (now wife) who was attending Weber State and working at the Browning Center (Where I saw Al perform in '99 or '00).

3 days!
The best part I like about this date is that Al has a 3 day break before this concert. Fresh vocals for Al!
Let's pray for good weather this year.

I talked to Bermuda briefly before the show last time, and he told me since it was too windy to show the video clips on the screen, that they were planning to do some special things, which ended up being some gags they don't usually perform. It was pretty cool, but I'd love to see the clips on the screen this year.

Clips are cool, but aren't they just AL TV interviews we've already seen?

For the most part, yes. But there are also the videos that are played during some of the songs, such as the medley of videos during the polka.
But if the recent winds here are any indication of what Friday's weather will be, it may be too windy!

The weather forecasts I've seen says it will be pleasant.

I'll be there!
It's been a few years since I've been active in any Al forums, but I just had to check back in with a couple of shows coming up!
Jake, I've met you at a few Al shows in town - RWS tour at both SLC and Ogden. I don't remember if I saw you last time at the State Fair, though, but I was there.
I'll be in Sec D, Row 3, #11-12.
The weather won't be a problem this time around - I'm a meteorologist and have ordered some excellent weather for Al & the band!
See y'all there. It'll be a blast, then it's off to Idaho Falls for the 1000th for me, yay!!!
