WZLS was a friendly family-owned station. Their service to the community was sincere and genuine. The DJ's actually had control over the playlists and happily took requests. Sadly, $$BigRadio$$ wanted that broadcast area, and used their lawyers continuously until the little guy folded.Grom @ Nov 1 2006, 05:41 AM wrote: Oh, and I just realised that next year would be the perfect time for Al to go back to the station! A lot like "UHF", except with an unhappy ending. Next year, I may leave flowers.
