1985 banner
Why would it be 1985 though?
(BTW, just a warning....I saw Chris Booker in the commercial. Oh fun, he gets to make more wise@$$ remarks....)

Because that is when the Sour Patch Kids officially went on the market:
See?
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

Maybe he likes them? I dunno. For that matter, what does Sly Stallone have to do with them? Maybe they just put them in there because they were big in the 80's? Was this something VH-1 put together? Maybe they just had these different banners with 80's products and 80's stars. Who knows?

No, I was pondering why Al's segmant would be in the 1985 episode and not 84 (Or 83 for that matter) show, that's all.
All the banners are collages like that.

Why, didn't he have an album in 85? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Yes he did have an album in 1985, but they usually have the subjects in the year they broke through.

Well, then, I don't know, either. Hey, he finally got on, didn't he? I think we should be grateful.
