My favorite is the story someone told on here about Al stopping "Melanie" halfway through because he forgot the words, and saying he'd finish it in the parking lot after the show... and then he actually did. :P

I haven't either...
The only Melanie-related thing I've heard about is during the 1996 tour, the intro recording was played after LAS, before the normal video clips. There'd be 3 beeps, then "mel..." and then a weird squeaking noise, and then silence...at least one of those times Bermuda introduced his own drum solo before the clips.
